I wish Hitler got into art school so maybe WW2 never would have happened! (Hitler got rejected from art school, I think that may have been what set him really off.)

You see, I wished that the wish would be wished to not be wished to be wished.
Now, let's simplify it.
We can remove the last "wished", it's superflous:
I wish this wish will be wished to not be wished.
Now, simplify that. Remove the second-to-last "wished".
I wish this wish will not be wished.
So, I was wishing for the wish to not be granted. It is not a paradox: a paradox contradicts itself.
Granted, you can control thyme. The herb, I mean. Hey, I just grant it! I can't help it if one of the middlemen screwed up and wrote something wrong!
I wish that Numbuh 18 would start understanding what I'm saying!
