I've got a question about LOCKDOWN. At the end, they said that no vampires were allowed in their club, and since Count Spankulot joined, he broke the rules so they got to spank him. But wait! They're vampires also! That means they're already breaking the rules, right? So shouldn't they spank each other?
And yeah...I, too, felt that 1 and 3 argued too much in the episode for it to serve as any kind of "proof" for 1/3. I mean, yeah, there's some evidence for 1/3, but it seems to me some people seem to be trying to find evidence where there isn't any, just to try to prove their case.

I liked LOCKDOWN, loved Numbuh 3's hair when she was a vampire. Well, I liked this eppy, so I'm not sure what else to say about it . Unfortunately, I missed CAKED 3, because I lost track of time when I was hangin' out with my friends . Wasn't that GRADUATES ?

'cause it's icky. and he pretty much yelled at her the entire time. the one time he tries to use logic she totally can't interact on the same level. he flat out called her "simpleminded" to her face. "Simple-minded" is hardly an insult. And he called her PLAN simple-minded, not her. I've got a question about LOCKDOWN. At the end, they said that no vampires were allowed in their club, and since Count Spankulot joined, he broke the rules so they got to spank him. But wait! They're vampires also! That means they're already breaking the rules, right? So shouldn't they spank each other? Dude. There was no "Club," so all that stuff about the rules was nothing more than sarcasm. Not every word they mutter is supposed to be taken 100% literally. Except that 1/3 didn't argue all that much--every time Nigel was annoyed, Kuki more or less just blew it off and once even managed to convince him she was right (when he read the chickies a bedtime story ^__^). I mean seriously, she had a handle on Nigel throughout the episode.

Dude. There was no "Club," so all that stuff about the rules was nothing more than sarcasm. Not every word they mutter is supposed to be taken 100% literally. You sure? Because I thought the idea was that spank-happy vampires can't actually spank someone until they break the rules. Since Count Spankulot apparently broke the rules when he joined the club when there were no vampires, they had an excuse for spanking him, and did. That's how it seemed to me, anyway. But you might be right...maybe it was just sarcasm. I just initially interpreted it differently.

James: in what context is calling someone's plan 'simple-minded' NOT an insult?
Really, I think you're stretching this. In fact, I would call this the single most anti 1/3 ep. in the bunch. I'm not trying to insult your coupling, just wondering where you can find proof of affection in an episode chock full of derision and irritation, throughout which Nigel seemed to be frustrated with Kuki and yelling at her. And not yelling in a 'banter' sense, yelling in a 'god I'm so sick of putting up with you' sense.

I got my synopsis of C.A.K.E.D.-T.H.R.E.E. up. www.geocities.com/lseths/knd/cakedthree.htmlI would've gotten L.O.C.K.D.O.W.N. up, but unfortunately I couldn't watch the tape of it, as I'm recording something right now. I should have it ready by tomorrow.

James: in what context is calling someone's plan 'simple-minded' NOT an insult? ANY context. "Simple-minded" is a descriptive term. If he had said "That plan is stupid" THAT would be an insult. Except that the entire time, he was frustrated at the CHICKS, not her. Sure, he SOUNDED frustrated at her, but that was because she kept talking to him. If Numbuh Five had talked to him instead, he would've had probably the exact same reaction. But the 1/3ness mostly comes from Kuki's angle. She never once got mad at Numbuh One and in fact seemed to adore his crankiness, and helped him take care of the chicks (telling him when to read the stories or let them watch TV etc). In fact their interaction in this episode mimics a common mother/father cartoon gig that's been being done for years: There's children that seem to always gravitate around the father, but the father doesn't know how or want to raise the children so he's in a perpetual state of frustration until the little missus (who always knows JUST what to do) comes along and fixes everything using obvious solutions. Seriously, they display "perfect couple" behavior! Where does the "anti-1/3" come from? If Nigel and Kuki had like come to blows or something, then I'd agree with you on that one.

Aw, I can't resist! The chicks were cute and funny!!! The DC are really messed up if they resort to a Kastle. Now I know Numbuh 2 is the 2x4 Technology Designer. I liked Numbuh 3's hair as a Vampire.
If only my computer worked by the time...
