Roxy rushed straight to the back of the alley, Darrel waited out on the other side. The alley was dark but Darrel could just make out a trashcan and a pile of rubbish. Suddenly she caught sight of a figure at the end of the alley. "That's Nigel." she though rushing into the alley. The fogure also rushed towards her and they crashed! "Got you Nigel Uno!!!" yelled Darrel grabbing hold of Roxy "Yeah sure! Like I'm a boy!" yelled Roxy grabbing hold of Darrel. "Oh.........sorry.........  " "It's okay! ;D " Suddenly, the pile of rubbish beside them bursted into flames and burnt up. Father stood there, glaring at them. "Where is that Nigel............." he hissed in a low, angry voice. The two girls froze. "We.......we don't know.........." "DON'T SAY YOU DON'T KNOW! TELL ME WHERE IS HE OR ELSE!!!" yelled Father. The girls screamed as he held out a flaming hand at them. Nigel was flying above them, he saw everything, and he knew he had to do something. "I've got to save them, even if they'll know that I have powers!" he thought. |

Nigel hesitated for a moment, as the fair-haired girl of the two (Roxy) calmed, whispered something quickly to the other girl, and together they kicked Father out of the way. They got a singed sneaker in return, but they didn't seem all that bothered. They steadied themselves, and ran off. By the time Father had hoisted himself out of the stinking pile of rubbish, they had gone.
"Blast it!" Father yelled, accidentally scorching the rubbish.
Nigel was relived. They were safe, didn't know where he was or his deep secret. Until, when he turned around, the girls had paused at the end of the alley, and were looking up.
'Darn it! They're seen me!' he thought, as one of the two winked at him and they ran a bit further back.
"Wait! Nigel!" Darrel yelled, but Roxy dragged her along.
"There's no point trying to catch him when he's in the air." Roxy replied.

"So what are we going to do?" asked Darrel looking at Nigel.
"Well we'll just see what he does." replied Roxy.
Nigel was looking at the two girls, he knew it was no use trying to escape, he might as well tell the two girls not to tell out his secret.
He landed on the ground and ran up to the two surprised girls. "You two......." he said looking at them. "Can you guys promise not to tell anyone about this.........?"
"Well I guess we can..........although it'll be really nice gossip..........." said Roxy grinning.
Nigel did his really sweet puppy dog eyes, silently begging her not to.
"Awww............" sqeuled Darrel.
"Well, okay we won't." said Roxy looking into Nigel's eyes...........

"Promise?" Nigel had to be sure, he couldn't let his secret escape through two school girls!
"Yeah, I promise!" Roxy said, not crossing her fingers behind her back for once.
"Me too," Darrel replied, "So what is it?"
"Well ... you know that thunderstorm?" Nigel said, "And the earthquake?"
"Yeah, it was hard to miss them" Roxy replied, Darrel just nodded.
"Well ..." Nigel began, "... I, started, them. With these new found abilities I have."
Roxy blinked. Darrel stared. (I want to know if our OC's can have powers too! Please? I'll love you for life! xD)

Of course they can!!! ;D And anyway I think Nigel should be must more powerful since he's so called the "Chosen one"............I'll introduce it later in the story.................

"You did all those stuff? With you power?" said Darrel in disbelief.
"Yes, I don't know how I did it all, but I did.........." said Nigel looking at his hands.

Yeah, I know, but say, just minor ice powers or fire powers or something. Ice powers would be pretty cool ... or earth. Anyway, ON WITH THE SHOW!

"No you can't," Roxy said, grinning slightly.
"Huh? Why not?" Nigel asked.
Darrel also looked quite confused.
"Because you just said you don't know how you did it, silly!" Roxy replied.
"Oh, what I meant was, it's caused by my emotions," Nigel said.
"Ohh ... COOL!" Roxy smiled even wider, and said "Well ... let's see a demo then!"

Okay, time for our OC's to get some power! ;D

Nigel shut his eyes and concentrated, he held out one hand towards a wall, ice shot out from his hands and froze the wall.
"COOOOOOL!!!" yelled both girls.
"Well, you can pretty much do it without your emotions." said Darrel walking up to him.
"Well it's sightly more difficult to do so..........." said Nigel blushing slightly because Darrel was standing right next to him.
(Okay even though we're older than him, just imagine he's as tall as us......)
Nigel put his arm on Darrel's shoulders as Roxy walked up to take a closer look at the frozen wall. No one saw Nigel's hand that he put on Darrel's shoulder was glowing...........
Darrel suddenly gave a yell and fell onto the ground, the other two turned to her in shock.
"She's blacked out!" yelled Roxy in shock.
"H.....how?" yelled Nigel. He accidently touched Roxy with his glowing hand......... Roxy gasped in pain and blacked out on the ground too..............
"Guys?Guys! Wake up you guys!!!" yelled Nigel in horror..............

Roxy was first to awaken, she wasn't sure why she was asleep. Nigel was looking at her with fear written all over his face.
"Are you alright?!" he almost yelled.
"Uh ..." Roxy gasped. She ws really confused, one moment she was just standing there, next thing she knew she was on the floor. "What happened?"
"Well, I..." Nigel started, "I think I brushed against you guys, and my new found powers, sort of, knocked you out."
Roxy rubbed the back of her head where she'd banged it on the floor, it was rather painful, and throbbing.
"Well that makes sense," she replied, "I think you'd better be careful from now on."
Darrel was still asleep, but a firm poking from Roxy fixed that.
"WHA! Uh, what happened?" Darrel shot up and looked at them.
Roxy explained what Nigel had said, and Darrel looked at her as if she'd just explained how an aeroplane engine worked.
Roxy continued rubbing her head, until she noticed something. It had stopped hurting. Not just like that, but as if she'd just washed the pain off. She took her hand away and looked at it. It was glowing very slightly, and sparkling.
"Uh, guys ..." Roxy started, but was stopped by a squeal from Darrel.
"IT'S SNOWING!" Darrel screamed, and dived for cover, "It's COLD!"
Roxy and Nigel quickly dodged towards Darrel, too.
"Snow in Summer isn't normal. Nigel ..." Roxy glared at Nigel slightly, "Does it snow when you're scared?"
Nigel didn't know, but everything was pointing at him.
"Um, probably?" Nigel replied.
"WELL STOP BEING SCARED, WE'RE FINE BUT COLD!" Roxy yelled. 'And I'm confused' she though.

back on subject: what about surprised-temrature raises real fast?

the 3 were taking shelter, and why they were talking, a cannon fell on the ground
"huh?" was all they could say, because it was really hot suddenly, as the snow melted really fast.
"nigel uno! what candy have you been eating?!" a low voice said, coming from the canon.
"those weird tasting green ones." nigel responded
"then it's good to know" the cannon said, while morphing into Disma.

YAY! I WAS HOPING YOU'D JOIN! ~~~ "Disma?" Roxy asked. "That's me!" he replied with a grin on his face. "HI!" she squealed, randomly. Nigel gave her an odd look. 'I'm really confused now, what the heck is going on?!' Nigel thought. Then they heard a strange noise. "What's that?" Darrel exclaimed, "It's sounds like rushing wind!" They ran out of the alley to see a twister heading straight for them. "Nigel!" Roxy yelled over the noise. "Why do you always blame me first?" he said, running away from the tornado. "'Cause usually it is you!" Darrel screamed, "Make it stop!" Confused as he was, Nigel tried his best to block out any emotions he had. But it had no effect. He couldn't block out his confusion at all. He tried to ignore the yells and screams, but he couldn't concentrate. Before he knew it, he'd been sucked into the eye of the tornado. "ARGH!" Nigel yelled, and struggled to get out. He felt something sharp past across his face, and warm blood trickled gently down his cheek. He was so scared that the tornado stopped, only to be replaced by snow again. He fell to the ground and the others rushed to him. "NIGEL! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!! OHMYGODOHMYGOD!!" Darrel was a bit overexcited and frightened. Roxy saw his wound, and considered what happened earlier. "Here -" she said quietly, and placed her hand on Nigel's cheek, '...heal?' she thought. It shocked him slightly, but what shocked him even more was when he felt her hand grow warm and the wound healed up. Any blood vanished, and the pain instantly disappeared. "...  " Darrel couldn't say anything. |

"Well, I think I inherited my power," Nigel stated, turning to face Roxy, "But I dunno about you."
"Well, so long as it keeps up healthy, does it matter how we got them?" Roxy snarled. She was in a bad mood, but she wasn't sure why. Probably her confusion coming out in an odd way, Like most of her feelings.

"Permanent? Cool!" said Darrel looking at Nigel.
"Well as long as he contols his emotions!" said Roxy.
Darrel suddenly felt her head aching a little, like when she was really, really tirsty. She spied a water tank not far away and walked towards it.
"Er... Darrel? If you're tirsty you can get a drink from one of the shops!" said Roxy looking at her in surprise.
Darrel ignored Roxy. She was leaning over the edge of the tank and looking into the water in it.
"Darrel be careful, you'll fall in.........."
Too late. Darrel leaned to far and fell right in, a loud splash followed.
The other three froze. Then her muffled voice came from in the tank. "Uh.......guys........."
They ran over to the tank. A huge wave splashed out of it and Darrel was standing there, dazed.
"O.....kay............weird..........." said Nigel.
"Guys, I think I can control water............."
