I have recently boughted 2 out of the 3 first season volumes. The oringinal season was fantastic.

The animation is better nowadays but back then the stories were more original; it seems as if they were repeating some actions in this 10th season and some of the characters don't have much development. Unfortunatelly.

I LOVE POKEMON!One of the most amazing things ever.But really.........I hate Ash and I don't like his Pikachu (did you know his Pikachu is gonna die in the 12th movie?YES!) ;D I like Pikachu,but I dont like his in particular.

It's just milking a cash cow at this point. I loved the games and anime growing up, but I stopped watching when May came on (sorry, but I ....well, I just disliked her. I've seen a few episodes with her replacement of Dawn, and she's relatively likeable, but I still can't seem to get back into the series).
Plus shouldn't Pikachu be at such a ridiculous level by now that barely any other Pokemon could touch him? I mean, Ash has had him since the get-go, and he's always been a very powerful Pokemon (the reason Team Rocket started chasing him in the first place...remember, they at first ignored him, saying something like "it's just a Pikachu...", then after seeing his power they decided he must be a particularly strong one and started going after him).
I maintain that James is gay. You can not convince me otherwise.
