Hooray! My download of Boys Over Flowers finished yesterday...I'm on episode 25 now, and I love it even more than the manga. *hugs it* The ONLY case where I like the girl going for the jerk.

can anyone point me to a good site for manga downloads?
and about Gothic Lolita: at Waicon (Perth, Western Australia's biggest anime con) there is a LOT of Gothic Lolita running around. Most of the girls (and shockingly guys) usually just buy stuff and throw it together. I'm not picking on them because they don't make their costume, and it's a great idea for a second dayer when you're all sewed out, but I personally just find it a bit......I dunno, lazy? Then again, I am going to be using a lot of PVC and Silk this year (Songstress Yuna, Princess Daisy in her big princessd dress, and Sora KH2 version).
Though, I've seen a wonderful Gothic Lolita Asuka (who won best female on the first day at the con). She made all the lace and everything to the exact detail too. She rocked.

Though, I've seen a wonderful Gothic Lolita Asuka (who won best female on the first day at the con). She made all the lace and everything to the exact detail too. She rocked. I know what you mean. I bought my first Goth Loli outfit the day before the con opened (people who pre-registered got to see the Dealer's Room early), then I stopped at Target to pick up accessories like jewelry and nailpolish. I had to bus an hour to get there, and I made damn sure I was all dolled up. The place I got it from asked if I would model in front of their stand. Meanwhile, there was one other girl I noticed who just tossed hers on with sneakers and this GARISH fuzzy pink cat ears. It was almost insulting, since the entire Goth Loli look is about looking neat and modest and frilly and adorable. I mean, if you're gonna wear cat ears, make sure they match. Baka-Updates has an archive of just about every manga made and links to where they are being scanlated (if they are). OH! BTW, Faster than a Kiss. Adorable. The first three chappies have been scanlated so far. It's a Teacher/Student romance that's somehow different. The girl and her brother are orphans, and their family didn't want them, so she was trying to figure out what to do. She ended up marrying her teacher who found them in the park. They act normally in school, but he makes her greet him at home in a "wife cosplay" outfit. Also, he used to be a very dangerous rebel, so has to protect her sometimes, and does so effectively. Latest chapter you find out they both secretly want this to be a real marriage, but he's worried he may go too far than she's ready for if he gets too close. Downloadable at sugar888.com/

What was the name of that one manga where the girl didn't have any friends 'cause she'd say things she didn't mean, but she wound up at this one club with this guy who loved doing make-up and stuff on girls and make them look pretty, but he'd do so whether or not said girl wanted the "makeover", and the girl wound up joining the club?

Oh. Ah... Suki knows. But... wasn't it a oneshot or something? Teehee... I must start watching Gintama. They did a Bleach parody episode (Zangetsu, naked!Orihime, Ichigo with a mask, etc) I watched it RAW but it was still the funniest thing ever.

That was You're My Girlfriend. Oneshot, very cute. She thinks the guy is gay.

I had the weirdest dream last night... I was white water rafting, only it was on a level in Super Mario Galaxy, and I was with a bunch of other people and this instructor. He told us there was this one thing that everyone does while white water rafting that you shouldn't do. I forget what it was, but he said "It was the worst thing to happen to white water rafting since Chibi Vampire" ... What the hell?

Thanks for the links guys. I can now look at go "Im not buying that one" "im getting that one" blah blah blah XD
Im getting excited about another con now. Its called Supanova, and its coming to my town in June. Im just getting excited because soon I will be able to make my Songstress Yuna cossie. i think the only thing im NOT making of her is the sole of the boots, and the little hairpiece under her ear. Yeah, Im MAKING her boots, because its apparently easier D:

I have another cute recommendation!
Akuma to Dolce. It's about a girl who has no friend, and lives alone because her parents work abroad. Her mother taught her how to make sweet pastries, and the dark arts, which she uses to summon love-level demons to do little chores in exchange for sweets (like picking up some flour at the store or removing a stain from her skirt). One day, she accidentally summoned a high-level demon, who has a serious sweet tooth, so they become friends.
It's also implied that her mother "caught" a demon the same way; with sweets.

Akuma to Dolce sounds right up my alley. Is it licensed?

Akuma to Dolce sounds cute...
Oh, by the way, has anybody heard of a Manga called "Black Sun, Silver Moon"? I got the first Volume yesterday, and....it's awesome. >w< I can't think of anything else to say, but I really liked it.
