I don't think it was. ^^
Paintings of You is really sweet. No nekkidness, so it's safe. Surge is pretty good, though the first story has some sex scenes, all the important parts are covered, so you wouldn't see anything more than you'd see at the pool. Only The Ring Finger Knows is one I REALLY enjoyed, and Time Lag is good, too.
I revel everytime I can find a BL without it being smut. OH! Zesty. I almost forgot that one. It's... interesting. Might wanna see if you can find a copy to read before buying if you can. I haven't bought it, but depending on the second volume, I might.

...suki already said would I would have recommended - Only the Ring Finger knows. But keep an eye on those labels...they're not supposed to sell the umm..more grown up ones to people under 16...some of the worse ones, to anyone under 18 (I grabbed one of the latter by mistake and assumed I was correct when I wasn't i.d.-ed...I was 17 at the time. But it was the last day of expo, and they stopped checking i.d.s like the 2nd day, except for weapons). I will tell you to avoid Yellow...while a good story, that one's VERY adult.
Canterella might be good, but it's more about action than anything else.....

I try to avoid anything above a 16+ rating, despite being 21. I picked up an 18+ once, and... well, let's just say I know more about the male anatomy than I wanted to before marriage or a Life Drawing class.

it didn't bother me, but I see no appeal in watching two guys go at it. I want a love story. If there's sex, I can deal, but I'd rather it be fluffy and lovey dovey with kisses. MANY kisses.
Rin's pretty good...but...well, volume 3, I believe, they do have sex, but you don't see anything.

I'd rather it be fluffy and lovey dovey with kisses. MANY kisses. Hell's yeah! But it's so hard to find one with a decent story that's well-executed. ><

Yeah.....which is a real shame. on the bright side, I've seen a huge increase in stores carrying boy/boy stories this year....but they're so much easier to get at anime conventions.

The downside being how many of those are sold for merely being boy/boy rather than a good story. But it's the same for most other comics. I can't find a decent shoujo anymore since they all run on one of the half-dozen storylines I've seen a million times.
Woo! Now I"m pumped to create something new. I should have the opening of my OWN manga done by the end of the week. It's only 3 pages, but still...

I'm probably not gonna get to work on my Manga for a while... I'm still young, and my drawing skills leave much to be desired. T_T @ In other news- A pair of Chobits-looking Robot Ears that I ordered came in the Mail today. They don't look like Chii's, though. They're longer, Black and White and they point down slightly. I'm wearing them right now. >w<

Well, CLAMP is always a good group to go for. I'd avoid CLAMP School Detectives unless you like perfect 8-year-old bishie boys who are better than everyone at everything.
Chobits is a good series, and I enjoyed Wish. Both are by CLAMP.
Let's see...Angelic Layer, also by CLAMP. DOn't watch the Anime, though. Anime sucks.
Tokyo Mew Mew is okay (not CLAMP). Basic animal-themed Magical Girl manga. Pretear is even better, since it has a twist on the Magical Girl grouping. Anime's also pretty good. Marmalade Boy is fun. Basic Really-Cute-and-Perfect-But-Acts-Like-A-Jerk-To-The-Heroine-Because-He-Secretly-Loves-Her-Oh-By-The-Way-They're-Also-Step-Siblings story. Wild Act is different in that the heroine is obsessed with this actor to the point of stealing all his stuff, since he's dead and his stuff was raided by his fans.
So that's Wish, Chobits, Angelic Layer, Tokyo Mew Mew, Pretear, Marmalade Boy, and Wild Act.
Oh, add President Dad. Girl's father becomes the Korean President, and since her mother is dead, she will have to take over as the First Lady of the Land (ie, Presidential Hostess), but her aunt wants to be the first lady, so she and her daughter (girl's cousin) try to thwart and embarass her at every turn. Then there's her bodyguard who's some werid sort of shapeshifter, and a group of sorts that seem to have some connection to her mother.

CLAMP School Detectives was kind cute to me...It reminded me of Ouran.
Oh, and if you like Shonen-ai, I have a recommendation:
Tokyo Babylon. It's my CLAMP, and I've read the first Volume. It's pretty dang cute.

I can't stand guys like the ones in CSD. The Ouran boys are caricatures of bishies like that, which is why they are more fun. They have personalities. It makes more sense that the girls are falling all over them.
And they aren't in elementary school with college girls lusting after them. Shotacon was never my deal.

I'm not bothering with Cosplay anymore. I like Goth Lolita more.
And I have some boots to wear with it now. ^w^ I have GOT to find more cons to go to just so I can frill up.

I love Lolita Fashion. >w< And not just Gothic Lolita either, I also like Sweet Lolita and Classic Lolita. <3 I don't own much, though. The closest thing I have is last year's Halloween Costume. DX
