The anti-Friday the 13th has arrived at last. Here's to hoping your day is a good one. Enjoy it while you can, because 7/7/7 is literally a once in a lifetime thing!

I thought it was the anti-6/6/6 day. ;D
We had a controversy brewing last year over that. Anyway...it's a big day for marriages, because of Lucky Numbuh 7. ;D

All of the local casinos in Arizona are making a big deal out of it with the "year of luck" or some crap like that.

I thought it was the anti-6/6/6 day. ;D Heh, that too. Forgot about 6/6/6. Yeah on the controversy. Had quite a few people thinking Jesus Christ was gonna come down and hafta choke sum-b*****s on that day. 'Course, like all doomsayers they turned out to be wrong, just like they were wrong about Y2K.

It's extra lucky for gamblers in Vegas.
777. Better than cherries. $.$

It seems like the casinos in Las Vegas are more exciting because there are roulette tables and other features you won't find in casinos in Arizona. The only time I ever gamble is when I travel to any of the cities in the Lake Mead area or decide to spend time in a casino here in Arizona and I haven't found a casino here in which they serve free drinks while you're losing your money.

The casinos in Atlantic City have got to be jammed today. Funny, went I went there last week, I didn't even go down to the casino after the kids went to sleep. Gambling holds little appeal for me. The roulette and blackjack tables are fun, but I don't stay them long. I get real bored, real fast with slot machines. I'd much rather be here: (That's the Pool at Harrah's. It just opened this past Memorial Day Weekend.)

My mother used to work at Harrah's (if I remember correctly). Not the one in Atlantic City, but the one in downtown Reno, Nevada.

Ahh, I have a good time back yesterday, at least 7 is my favorite number. And MHG, 666 is the number signed by the anti-Christ, it gives much more evil than the day of "Friday of the 13th". Friday 13th is actually a bad luck day, while 777 is a complete reverse. Just some of my own facts.

Oh, I know that. We made a whole thread about June 6, 2006 (6/6/6) last year. ;D
I don't believe in Friday the 13th being a "bad luck day". I either had a streak of GOOD luck or the day passed by as usual.
One of my daughters has a birthday on the 13th (November 13), so I'm even less inclined to think it's a bad luck day. (She was born on a Thursday.)

13 maybe a bad luck number, but a 13th on other days is fine, but on a Friday is totally bad. That's why we know the 13th floor is mostly skipped. If it's the Chinese, 4 is their bad luck number.

Dang...I'm in easy EASY driving distance of Vegas but not old enough to gamble. Darn. ^_- Eh, dont' worry. The casinios would have been CRAZY crowded. That's why we didn't go to the penny Phantom slots at the Luxor. Darned club wasn't doing Goth last night. ><

If they have penny slots at the Luxor and $4 roulette at the Sahara, what else do they have in Las Vegas that I probably haven't seen?
