mariostar quote: "Pretty much all Vegetables except for Pickles. I also hate fish, I puked one time eating one." I hate fish too (I like fish in glass bowls and aquariums where I can stare at them, that's about all ;D). Even before I became vegetarian, I hated fish. As for pickles, it depends on what kind. Some pickles taste like garbage . Others taste really good (Ever have Sweet Midgets? Best pickle out there ;D). webuiltthiscity quotes: "Ooh, Smirnoffs. I can down 3-4 of those and not get a buzz. And they are so good" and "Yeah, California's a lot of fun. It's still "the grass is always greener," tho. I'm from NorCal, so we still get rain and cold weather up here, and I lived my life wishing I lived in SoCal. Those I know from SoCal talk about how much it sucks down there and were glad they moved up here. " Ever have Wild Grape Smirnoff (I'm having one right now). Absolutely delish ;D. I never had much of a problem with Smirnoff either if I have 2 of them (I don't drink much as it is because, as I said, I'm tiny and cant' take much). Ever went to Disneyland? I always thought it would be cool to go there. Only thing I've heard about there is that the "pretty people" live there and there's some beaches (Ok, I haven't traveled much ;D).

I forget which one I had, I think it was like a hard lemonade or something....I've been to Disneyland once, and it was definitely an awesome experience. I've been meaning to make at least one more trip in my life.
The "pretty people" thing was just about right. I was down in Orange County (down there, all the cities run into each other, from Anaheim to Irvine to Santa Ana to Costa Mesa to San Dimas to Mission Viejo and so on and so on), for (amateur) wrestling camp, and my friends and I would watch Baywatch throughout the day, and it was the exact same view outside our hotel window. Northern California beaches are bloody cold, so even if you do get nice looking people, it's not hot enough for them to wear anything revealing.

Numbuh OxFF quote: "I've just remembered a horribly disgusting food item I'd like to share. It's something cooked around these parts called Khavoorma (Kavurma in original spelling). It's a sort of proto-sausage made by taking the small intestine of some unsuspecting animal and then filling it with chopped up (but fairly large) pieces of said animal. These pieces are mostly left-overs so you get a fair amount of cartilage, fat, general tubing and all kinds of very miscellaneous vaguely organic oddments. The general rule is: If it's ever been a part of a pig, or near a pig or possibly within an earshot of a pig it goes in . This nightmareish concoction is then boiled, left to cool (so all the miscelanious fat runs together and forms one gelatinous mess that's slimy and yet gritty at the same time) and served to an appreciative audience of local gourmands."
(Tries not to throw up). Sounds wonderful (Sarcastic).

That's Turkish food, isn't it? When I saw a picture of this stuff on a turkish takeaway, I thought it was some kind of salad. And I also ate some fresh fish, cooked and stuff, but I didn't feel too good that day, but better than with the canned thing. Yuck. Romanians have a thing forweird foods. First of all, sausages. Pig's intestine filled with meat and garlic and spices. Then, kaltabosh (original spelling: caltaboş), a bigger sausage which includes rice (no, not the secretary of state), too.
I also cannot stand salami or pig fat (the white one).
EDIT: I forgot to add that Turks are well known for their high quality products.

Seeing how it's made from pork, I doubt it Numbuh 1024. However it could have been inspired by some Turkish 'delicacy'.

Yes, well, it does stand to a reason to be wary where you purchase your meal of more or less raw fish. Cooking isn't there just for the taste, you know, it also removes all kinds of nasties from your food. Yeah, but proffesionals make sure that the fish is healthy. There are only certain types of fish they use to make sushi. Like if you ever go into a fish store, you may see regular tuna, and sushi-grade tuna. Guess which will make you get salmonela if you don't eat it? Actually there was one food that made me sick... but that was the only time. OK so I was in California for this thing called Earth Explore. It's like a program for students to go and do whale watching, and kayaking, and hiking in Yosemite and stuff. Anyways for the first 5 days we were at a college dorm and we were eating cafeteria food. Well for dinner one night they served this thing. It was meat(this was before I was a vegetarian), that's all I know. Part of it was red meat, and part of it was white meat, we weren't sure if it was chicken, or pork, or beef, or goose or something. Also, it was covered in this green sauce. Well I tried it, (I was the only one brave enough) and I loved it. Trust me, it tasted a lot better than it looked. It was kinda like spicy chicken. Well I ate the whole thing, and felt fine. However I then woke up in the middle of the night and my stomach hurt really bad. I took some Pepto Bismal. and it would help for like 5 minutes, and I was tired and sick, so I wasn't thinking clearly, and I ate wayy too many pepto bismals... That was a fun night. The next day I felt fine, we went whale watching, and I was one of the few people who didn't get seasick.
