"Peeyelzed"? Do you mean "please"?

...Yeah. Peeyelzed=P.L.Z. If I was American it would be peeyelzee.

I am sorry, but "peeyelzee" is not a word. "Plz" is an internet chatroom spelling of "please," as Wikipedia says here.

I know that. I have a habit of pronouncing acronyms phonetically, and for some reason I decided to write that as I would've said it.

True. Maybe Stardrifter should make a board just for girls and a board just for boyz and have passwords to it or suttin like that. I don't think that is really a good idea. This isn't the kind of board that has a lot of those "girl or boy only discussions" to warrant a separate board for boys and girls. I say we don't talk about each other's periods or erections in public and everyone should be just fine.

but the lady at the front desk gave me some protection, then i called home to change. the thing (pad, i don't use tampons cuz they cause cervical cancer) she gave me was big and thick! i am not a heavy bleeder. so i put that one on anyway, and took the remaining five things out of my cupboard and put them in my purse. Just so you know, a tampon does not cause cervical cancer, that's just a myth. It doesn't actually touch your cervix. Still, for younger girls they are tricky, so if you don't think you're ready for them then you should wait a while.

But they can cause Toxic Shock Syndrome if left in for too long. I just thought I'd mention it.

That used to scare me too, but if you make sure you change it every couple of hours, then you'll be fine. You have to change your pad every couple of hours anyway, so it's not a very big change. It sure feels more natural and you don't have to wear thicker pads (that might show through your clothes).
