BTW Why DOES she talk like that anyway? Do you think anyone here knows the answer to that question?

actually, (especially in the most recent eps) Five has used first person quite a few times. Hm... I'm not sure, but I think that Numbuh 5 has talked pretty consistently in a combination of first and third person. Basically, if it sounds awkward to say "Numbuh 5" instead of just "I" or "me", then Numbuh 5 won't use third person, and she's used first person a lot, even in the first and second seasons. It seems to me that she only uses 3rd person to achieve a cool effect or something. ^^;;; I watched a random six episodes of Kids Next Door and found that, of the total amount of times where Numbuh 5 referred to herself in a sentence, she only uses third person 40-60% of the time. Times she used "I" or "me" during the six episodes I watched: #5: I'm on it. --UNDERCOVER #5: I told you it was too easy! --I-SCREAM #5: I like it when things are too easy! --I-SCREAM #5: But little did she know that the spooky spooky treehouse ghost was really... me! --NO-POWUH #5: I wonder what hamsters do on vacation... --NO-POWUH #5: Yeah, but if I was you, I'd wash it off... --FUGITIVE #5: Give me that. --POP #5: Yeah, I'm sure he's in a better place. --GHOST #5: Don't worry. I'm sure they'll find something to keep them happy. --GHOST She usually refers to herself in 1st person about only once or twice every episode, but Numbuh 5 tends to keep her talking short or often the situation doesn't call for Numbuh 5 to refer to herself, for example, "Watch out!" or "Where does he come up with this stuff?" or "Can we please go to bed now?" So, even though she only uses first person once or twice an episode, I estimate that those instances account for 40-60% of the total amount of times where she has the choice to use "I", "me", or "Numbuh 5". I still need to watch a lot more episodes and count the numbuh of times she uses third person (since I was being an idiot, I only wrote down the times when she used first person) to make an accurate statement, though. EDIT: Wow, I think this is my 666th post. ^^

4-those tin cans don't know who they're messin with! they've made this personal by takin' numbuh3! (2/5 look at each other) 2&5(sing-song-y)-wally and kuki sitting in a tree,k-i-s-s-i-n-g! 4(embarrassed)-shut up! it is not like that! numbuh3,she, well, uh, owes me a quarter.

I've finally seen UNDERCOVER, but not BEACH, because of Cartoon Network's brilliant tactic of replaying the episodes out of order.
I loved it. The line "Lenny, you're an idiot," had no more humour value, since I'd heard it so many times, but I loved Cuppa Joe's line "I'm running on six cups of coffee!" Maybe it was the line delievery, I don't know. I also loved Lenny's voice. Did anyone else notice that Numbuhs One to Four and Lenny were acting in unison at one point? It was really creepy, even if it only lasted for a few seconds.

Now, Wally, don't hide your true feelings. The knight in shining armor theme in the B.E.A.C.H. is one cliched feature. But at least they implement it in a new way! As for U.N.D.E.R.C.O.V.E.R., damn those stereotypes to coffee drinkers. (Of course, the KND could just have burnt Brazil down to the ground to get rid of the source.)

I am starting to think that Lenny is a secret member of the KND.

I think Lenny's a former member of the Kids Next Door. That's how he got in so quickly in UNDERCOVER.

Maybe stuff about Lenny and the other DCFDTL will be part of the movie op. ZERO.
