This was a good episode. It gets better in the second half. I had to record it and watch it over and over again. Sally is cool indeed. Why couldn't Kuki be like that? On another note, Cartoon Network changed their logo to a [glow=red,2,300]HUGE[/glow] one that's just meant to take up more space. I liked the old one better.

Okay, for me, "FUTURE" had its ups and downs.
Ups The whole Back to the Future feel of the thing was pretty awesome. During the Saturday morning viewing, I realized what Madam Margaret meant by she had something to do across town. She was zapping Numbuhs 1, 2, and 5. (Yes, Five. Numbuh 5 was a total girly-girl. Yowza.) The whole scene when it goes back and changes to old guy Numbuh 4 going back in time to save them and get help for him young self was a nice touch.
The "new" Numbuhs 1, 2, 3, and 5. The guy I liked to call "Guy Five" was pretty cool even though we didn't see a lot of him. The new Numbuh 2 was pretty neat, and I wanted to huggle him. The new Numbuh 1 was freaking awesome, and I loved him just as much as Nigel. And Sally! Whee!
And if that whole thing where the new Numbuh 1 was protecting Sally from the other boys wasn't a hint of 1/3 then I must be stupid. Okay, that's enough of a couple rant for today. ^^;;;
There was also the reference to "Mrs. Nesbitt!" I laughed my head off at that. Abigail Nesbitt is one of the "Storyboard Operatives." When those two boys turned girls are having a tea party, one of them asks, "More tea, Mrs. Nesbitt?" My sister thought I went crazy.
Downs
Girl Numbuh 1, girl Numbuh 2, and girly-girl Numbuh 5. End of statement. My sister and I just about screamed when we saw that. My eyes will never be the same again. Mr. Warburton, you will be receiving my therapy bills when I'm forty.
The girls in charge of the world seemed well...too girly. You'd think that they'd be a little tougher considering that they're in charge of the place and terrorizing little boys.
Not a whole lot of problems in the "Downs" department, I know. Overall, a pretty good episode.

Also I have some figuring on Future. One of my ideas is that adult Kuki also still likes 4. Look at her granddaughters name SALLY. Almost like Wally. Also someone one of my friends said that though Sally was a lot like 3 in looks and character, she did resemble 4 a lot. She said her determinedness and fistyness reminded her of 4 and if you takes 3 and 4 nose you can get sally And for some strange reason she said that the Mohawk guy was 4 grandson. She said because of his temper and is willingness to fight as well of his Mohawk. 4 wanted a Mohawk and maybe he was just doing what 4 did. Also he has the same head shape as 4 so it was both 3 and 4. Even those I think the thought of him being both 3 and 4's grandkid is incorrect I do think it MIGHT be 4 grandkid and 3 and (maybe) 4's grand kid did seem to like each other. And see there relationship brought back memory of his relationship with 3 and that's why he said that line of "And I've always regretted never asking out__" But those are mostly her thoughts.

oh man. this eppisode was so wierd. for someone who analyzes canon like it's Dostoesky, this sucker was rife with issues. i can't remember each of them at the moment, but i'll tivo it and remember.
still - while the "future team" was really cool, it was also - ehhh. as one and two are both girls, the idea of them having kids... eww. the new two could be tommy's kid - yeah, that's my theory. how are there kids, anyway? if the whole world's run by girls and the boys are hunted and endangered - where are the babies coming from? three must have gotten together with somebody else - future four is way too hating of the femmes and by his own admission never asked her out. just... woah. head hurts.
it was still funny.

how are there kids, anyway? if the whole world's run by girls and the boys are hunted and endangered - where are the babies coming from? ... Okay... there's a fact about KND that it seems no one but me has caught. It's this: The show is written from a CHILD'S perspective. Just look at it: Vegetables are bad because adults make you eat them and they taste yucky. Teachers are bad, they force you to do homework. etc. etc. Thus, obviously, in the KND world, babies aren't "born" the same way they are in the real world--they come from the Stork, like in a Looney Tunes cartoon, since that's how a real ten-year-old will think babies are born (or at least, that's how it was back when I was a kid). But if you want to be a realist, there's always the answer of artificial insemenation. EDIT: Tried to tone down this post because, to me at least, it's coming off as needlessly (and entirely unintentionally) hostile.

It's this: The show is written from a CHILD'S perspective. like i said, i take canon and anaylization of such much too seriously. you should see me and my friend try to put invader zim into a rational and realistic universe. getting close. and personally, i knew where babies came from around kindergarden. my mum believed in education. but i suppose one could use that as an explaination. at least it isn't icky. eh, a little hostile, yeah, but that's cool. i'm pretty cool - thick skin and all that.

Eh, it's probably too late to mention this but Operation: FUTURE will air again at 8:30 PM Eastern Standard Time tonight. If you missed it, now's your chance. If you think you won't get to see it, program it. ^_^
