Thats right! I got a new game called Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team for GBA, and It was awesome. I chose Cyndaquill as my main pokemon & Treecko as the Main Partner on my game. By the way, it's an RPG Game!

Someone made me try it yesterday, I got Machop as my main guy and Treecko (named Zoro thanks to my One Piece addiction) as my partner. What's creepy about it is comparing it to actual Pokemon games; imagine a human trainer randomly popping up, beating you up, sticking you in a small plastic ball and forcing you to follow his every command and risk your life beating up other Pokemon.

LOL, that's a good way to sum up the entire series. Not that I hate it, I like the anime but I've only played the Pokemon Yellow game. I think because I felt all the games would basically be the same, so I wasn't too interested in the rest. However, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon looks like it might be different and (more) fun, even if the cuteness factor is through the roof. (Anyone seen the PMD special on Cartoon Network? You'd need to brush your teeth ten times after that one.) I wish I wasn't short on money, I would so buy Nintendo DS (there's so many awesome-looking games on it!) and PMD may be one of my first games.

The Red version is available on GBA, but it really isn't as good as a regular Pokemon game. It just has a completely different plot, but it's just a dungeon crawler with Pokemon characters, minus the gold-filled barrels. Basically, go around, get a rescue mission, get magically teleported to a randomly generated dungeon without any interaction involved, kill everything, recruit new partners and find whoever you're looking for, get paid for the mission, buy TMs and stuff and repeat.
Personally, I'd pick Emerald over it; it's surprisingly deep if you actually get into it, and it's pretty different compared to Yellow (which I've always found pretty boring myself). If you look past the simple story and graphics, it's got (almost) infinite replayability and tons of little secrets to keep you busy, such as getting a Shedinja early in the game.

I've seen commercials... It's interesting, but it seems just too much... I'm thinking of getting it, but then again, I'd rather ger Star Fox DS.

Gold and Sapphire are great games. I have both, but my Gold is glitched and won't save... ;_; And I started my Sapphire over.

Isn't it "Zolo"?My brother got the Red version for GBA, and I wanted to try it (I only owned the Yellow version,) but I got confused after a couple of seconds and gave up. I probably got confused because it doesn't play like the other games (minus the Pinball and Trozei versions.) I do like that they're doing something DIFFERENT for a change, though...

hehe I got probably almost every pokemon game for handheld systems out (didn't get gold or red version though and I REALLY WANNA GET DIAMOND/PEARL, MANYULA!!!!!!) so I beat my mystery dungen's story mode but I still have a lot of legendarys to recruit! and I've discovered the games true fun...I mean playing accually as the pokemon? come on it's better then playing as that boring trainer who can't do anything...walk around...yes emerald is not obsolete or ruby or sapphire, or leafgreen/firered version...but still it's my opinion...~_^
