Dont turn to the dark side. You know Halo 3 is going to murder ps3. It comes out the same day. i can can tell you one thing. The first next gen console released is going to be the top console till the next gen comes out in like 4 years. Or 8. And the 360 was the first. Ps3 is going to be smiten. In my opinion. Is the 360 backwards compatible? If so, it can hang with the PS3. Still, it may or may not get some of the major titles like the GTA series.

I will say this once, and once only. All this console nonsense is but a passing fad compared to the One True Power of the universe: The Computer.
Mind you, PS3 should run Linux out-of-the-box and thus is elevated from the status of a mere toy, an idle amusement for half-wits, to the status of a bona-fide computer. And, of course, the 360 will follow suit wether MS wills it or not.
As for games, how can one be expected to play a game without a mouse? Not to mention how obnoxious it must be to be restricted to only new titles. What of, say, my vast collection of games, some of which date to 1980s? How am I supposed to play Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri on a XBOX? Heroes of Might&Magic? Age of Wonders?
