Thats why its EVIL!! It got WAY out of hand!
You used to see it on EVERYTHING!! On pencils, on bikes, on t-shirts! I even saw a car with a huge Pikachu decal on the side doors! It aint as popular as it used to be but it still is sorta out of hand.
The only good thing about Pokemon is that someday all the cards my freinds gave me might be worth some [glow=green,2,300]$$$$$[/glow]
And Ive got about 35,000 of the things stashed in my room!

Ash and pikachu were never video game characters
i even have a poster on an old guide book of him and it is not Ash. And pikachu was so fat, that even if it was Ash, it would be too heavy for him to carry.

Well, technically the main character of the Pokemon games can be named whatever you want. In the original, the Red version's character had three default names if you decided not to give him a new one, one of which was "Ash." The blue version's character also had three default names, one of which was "Gary."
Oh, another one for best video game duo: The Sega Genesis with the Sega CD.

The gary character actually looked like gary but not the Ash character.
