I was waiting for a The Legend Of Zelda thread! X3 You're awesome for making this. I've been into TLoZ since I was four... the first one I played was the first one for the NES at my cousin's house. My favorites are... "Ocarina Of Time", "Wind Waker" and "A Link To The Past". You guys are the first ones I've met who liked Wind Waker's graphics as well. :0 I loved the graphics! They were so cartoony! And the expressions were great. As for Twilight Princess... Well, I'm a bit uneasy about it. Like you guys said... aiming for Americans. >_>;;; ... I screamed when I saw Link turn into a wolf in the trailer... I don't know, I didn't like it. But then I found out that he only turns into a wolf in what I call "The Twlight Zone". That made me feel a bit better since in A Link To The Past, he turned into a pink bunny when he went to the Dark World without the Moon Pearl. Although hopefully there will be something like the Moon Pearl in Twilight Princess... I don't wanna play as a wolf the whole time I'm in that place! Yeah ... I'd also like to play Minish Cap, I've heard it was pretty good! :3

I'd also like to play Minish Cap, I've heard it was pretty good! :3 First, yes, Minish Cap was pretty good, the only 2D Zelda I enjoyed. Second, about Twilight Princess: Sadly, you'll have to play as Wolf Link after entering the Twilight Realm (Fancy name for "Dark World). What's more annoying is that you'll have to let that "Midna" thing ride you. Yeah she's female, if you look closely at the character model in the trailer you'll notice a slight bust-line. (Not like I was looking.) According to an interview she also lives in the normal world "only in the most basic form of existance.". Also, upon entering the dark world, someone turns into the creature closest to his/her feelings and personality. I don't know what kind of twisted person would turn into a gremlin-cat hybrid thing, yet I'd rather not dwell on such things. She obviously isn't Zelda, thank god, since according to an interview she's just another villain character which only teams up with Link to "defeat a greater evil", which is "Non-spoiling producer's language" for "Ganon". About Zelda, anyone notice how she appears to be human in the trailer, yet she's in the dark world? Is she wearing that cloak just to hide her obvious dark transformation? Will I ever shut up with these plot thories and stop acting like a fanboy? Only time will tell.

Actually, the people I was laughing at for being clueless were at my school, not online.
I think that Twilight Princess sounds interesting. I'm not looking forward to it quite as much as my sister is, though.
Favourite music in the games, anyone?

Favourite music in the games, anyone? Wind Waker main theme song and intro. (OOT's overview) and Deku Palace in Majora's Mask.

I'm in love with the Elegy of Emptiness, so much so that it became the basis for my baby (aka: best and favoritest fanfiction), Tome of Lineage. (shameless plug)
OoT: Desert Colossus theme, Goron City, Bolero of Fire (I heart Darunia's soul!), and the Minuet of Forest.
MM: I also like the Clock Town theme and the Song of Healing. I always near tears when I watch the Darmani Song of Healing sequence, and the Elder Goron's Son singing the Goron Lullaby for that matter. Oh! And the completed Ballad of the Wind Fish pleases my soul.
TWW: Agreed, main theme/intro rock. Nothing else really springs to mind, sadly... Outside the game, however, I love the song by System of a Down. "Link, he come to town, come to save the princess Zelda. Ganon took her away, now the children don't play, but they will when Link saves the day. (HALLELUJAH!)" Has anyone else heard that song?

Are you sure that's by System of a Down? I saw it on this site. I do like to sing it sometimes. It's catchy. My favourite song from Ocarina of Time is the opening tune. I guess it reminds of when I used to watch the demos when I first played it at age ten. I also like the Nocturne of Shadows and the Requiem of Spirit. The Forest Temple is nice and creepy, too. And the Market as a kid makes a nice contrast to the market as an adult. In Oracle of Ages, I love the "sad" music that plays in the house with the kid who was turned to stone, and somewhere in Symmetry Town. I also liked the music outside the eighth dungeon. I haven't really been very far in Majora's Mask, but I like the music inside the clock tower (song of Healing), and the Clock Town on the Final Day tune. I also like the sound effects during the last six hours. I haven't played Wind Waker for a while, but I remember liking the title theme. I think I also liked the traces of tunes from Ocarina of Time, and probably other games, such the Kokiri Villiage tune in the Outset Island music, Saria's Song in the Forest Haven, and Kakariko Villiage in Windfall Island. The music in Hyrule Castle was good too. So was the pipe tune while the legend was being explained. Has anyone else seen the MSTing of Wind Waker?

Has anyone else heard that song? "now LINK! Fill up your HEARTS! So you can SHOOT! Your sword of POWER! And when you're feeling all down the fairy will come around so you be brave, and knock this easy tower!" ^__^

Oh, I forgot all about Skull Kid's theme. That was cool. Oh! And one more to add to my list: Kamaro's Song, the one that plays in West Clock Town at night and when you do Kamaro's Dance with the mask. I love that dance! My cousin, sister, and I made a point of learning it and Tott's dance. Haven't gotten around to Bonooru or Darunia though...
How 'bout dungeons or bosses? Any you especially liked or creeped you out beyond hope of comfort? *cough*Bottom!*hack*of Well!*cough* ...I need a glass of water...

Oh yeah, Kamaro's Song is good. I liked it.
I was just on OCremix yesterday. I was mainly listening to Chrono Trigger remixes though. The ruined landscape one is awesome. The song Iguana linked sounds great so far.
Zelda creeping me out... That happened a lot. I was a very wimpy ten year old. When playing the person I first borrowed the game off's game, I always wore the bunny hood in Hyrule field, never went into Zora River after the first time when I thought something had attached to my face, (I freaked out and reset the game) and couldn't get very far of my own game because I was scared of the Skulltullas.
For things that still creep me out, the Market as an adult is pretty spooky, but I don't spend much time in there because the Sun's Song is only temporary. Also, the Forest Temple is creepy, if only for its music.
By far the spookiest part of a game is the final hours in Majora's Mask. I was getting the Couple's Mask for someone else, and it was kind of scary waiting in the inn for Kafei to show up. When he did, I went outside and looked at the moon, and it was huge. I'm still too much of a wimp to see what happens when the time runs out.
(Saves hero of time remix)

What creeped me out most in the game...
The re-deads(( OoT and WW )), mummies, and the... white... things at the bottom of the well with the long necks... o.o As for songs... Bottom Of The Well, Shadow Temple and the last hours in Majora's Mask.
Anyone else jump or anything when the re-deads scream?
Also, I've seen what happens when time runs out in Majora's Mask. One day, I was over at my friend's house(( With another friend. )) helping her on her game on MM... And she had never seen what happens. So after defeating the first two temples and it was around 12... I decided that before time runs out, we should save the game. We agreed on this and we saved a few seconds before it ran out. And then we went back, died... Then when we came back to the first day, we looked at the Quest Items menu... and the two masks weren't there. And then my friends blew up on me and they told me to go get those masks back while they went to sleep. Soooo... yeah, I wasted another few hours defeating those temples AGAIN. While my friends went to sleep.
... Yeah, don't try to do what we did. O.o;;;; 'Tis not smart.

The owl statue warns you about that. It says that the only way you can save permanetly is by playing the Song of Time.
My brother made that mistake once. He was on the final day, and I'd told him that you could play most notes on the Ocarina by holding Z, R or the control stick. So he loaded up his interupted game, played the ocarina for a bit, got bored, and turned the Nintendo off. Fortunatly, he hadn't got any remains that time round, but he was pretty close to the 3rd temple.
The long necked white things are called Dead Hands, I think.
