Silent Hill is easily my favorite game series of all time. The story, the graphics, the scare factor, it's all there. Silent Hill 3 is my favorite with SH2 on a close second.

I've never played it, and it sounds too creepy for me to finish, or even start.
I'd like ot retain my ability to listen to radio static.

(Though personally I felt Silent Hill was a much better and much creepier game than Resident Evil. Of course, neither of them compare to the first two Clock Tower games...)

My brother downloaded Clock Tower for the SNES. I couldn't even watch him play it! I'm kind of glad that he got bored with it so quickly. Of course, I'm scared to death by Riven, so I don't think I can tell how scary something is with much accuracy.

The atmosphere. It's creepy. But it only started scaring me when I watched the ending where you trap yourself in the book and Ghen shoots you. The one before you trap him in the book. I thought I'd grown out of being scared of bad endings, but apparently not. I was eleven.
And now that I've proved what a wimp I am, let's get back on topic.

Then again, that probably counts for something, considering how the game actually DOES end. (I don't remember Ghen actually shooting you though, just closing the book).
But yea, back on topic... personally I thought Silent Hill 2 was kind of disappointing in some ways compared to the first one. But Pyramid-Head was creepy.

Hee, I'm a pretty big Silent Hill fan. : D I agree, it's one of the best series ever -can't wait for the fifth one to come out-.
Oh, and I like the third one the best.

The SH series is so cool! Though I like the RE series as well. Ya Pyramid-Head was scarey but he was also cool, for a villian that is  I still think SH4 is the creepest of them all. Atleast were I am in it is. |
