My God, Nigel didn't lose his childhood. He lost most of his freaking life! I was thinking about that too. Nigel left when he was about ten, and returned when he was about...fifty. That's, like, forty years gone. It wasn't worth it. As sad as it is to say, that scenario pretty much screwed up the entire series. Agreed. It was ridiculously uncalled for. Oh, yeah. I never thought of that. But Numbuh 5 said, "Welcome back." So he might've just been returning or something.

....I don't get it.
No, seriously, I REALLY don't get it. Why was Numbuh 4 suddenly brilliant? (and why was Numbuh 3 still insulting him?) what's up with Numbuh 2's memory loss? If Numbuh 5 and Numbuh 1 are still in communication as adults, what happened? Did he recomission them? What?
And we end the series with more questions raised. Which is a bad way to end, unless you're planning a spin off series.
Not as bad as I was expecting, but I still didn't much care for it. But I did really like the live action actors, especially Hoagie's...his delivery of his plane joke was perfect.

Maybe Nigel jsut went into a deeper sector of the KND. An Underground KND, like the Boys Next Door. Perhaps ones that infiltrate adult areas, like governments and industries.
Hey, Lobbyists gotta come from somewhere.
And yes, that joke was plane awesome.
Get it? Plane?! ;D

That's another thing I didn't get....Father turned into a dragon. I love dragons, but that was just so...random, even for this cartoon.

I agree. I mean, the perma-black was a stretch, even in ZERO. The flames were suspention of disbelief. But a dragon? Give us SOME credit.
And that AWFUL CG Father? Ew.

Oh well. Random is always good in a cartoon. I'm sure it was really great. It's KND, after all. It can't not be great.

I was thinking...they so could have pulled off a live-action father. How? I don't know, but they totally could have pulled it off. Full black ninja suit on somebody and red lighting in backround, something like that.
That would be an awesome fan project...live action father. hm... oh movie makerrrrrr!!!!

Reading the posts about other unanswered questions and the whole GKND thing kinda lowered my score on this ep even more... Mm.

LOL I love the 1/3 moment it was so sweet ^^ I'm a 1/5 but still and I loved the Log Ride picture, Nigel and the DC fighting XDD OMG The blonde boy's expression was the weirdest XDD and they went into a dark cave... O.O Dirty mind I has.... XD And I think my fav. line in that episode was:
Nigel: Numbuh 2 you, steer the ship 'cause we're about to crash into a mountain...
XDDDD Hooray for Mr. W!!

I did actually like the episode. This is Nigel's life, and even if he missed his freinds and most of his life, that's not the point. The point was that Nigel goes on being a kid, even apart from everyone and everything. Even when he grows up.
If it helps, think of this as Nigel growing up, leaving behind the Kids Next Door, and yet not, because he's still with them.... He's beyond them.

But we don't know that for a fact. That was the most annoying part...the end made you question the whole episode.

Eh, I see no reason to get into a huge deal over it. It was a pretty good ep, but nothing epic, and just one more I can strike from my personal canon.
BTW, why the scavanger hunt? Why bother testing Nigel if his plane was set to leave at 8pm already? They couldn't KNOW he would get away from his teammates, or that he would even win.
