This whole Lizzie/1/362 thing is seriously parallel with Helga/Arnold/Lila debacle in the Hey Arnold community. And I agree with Lord M, the whole thing is to prove that Nigel will once again, show his endless loyalty with Lizzie, just like in SNOWING.

Bah, the whole thing will end up with 1/86 really, I just know it.

Not that it will change anything. If Warburton manages to think something up that will put an end to all Nigel pairings save the canon one, I'm nominating him for a Nobel AND Pulitzer.

Well, I'm not too sure about the whole 362/1/Lizzie thing. However, I have doubts that it will actually happen in this episode (not that I think it's totally impossible). Don't get me wrong. I don't 5/1/Lizzie just as much in this episode. But, once again, nobody knows for sure until they actually see it. So I say "no conclusions yet."

Personally, I think the chances of a 362/1/Lizzie triangle are VERY unlikely. Yeah, 1/362 is fairly cute, but I don't think there's been enough interaction or chemistry between the two to make a love triangle with Lizzie possible.

I think it's amusing how many people support Nigel pairings outside of Lizzie. I think he's been paired with just about every girl on the show at this point, which must make his relationship with Lizzie relatively unpopular. Curiously, I don't dislike Lizzie's character, I think she's funny. I just don't like her paired with Nigel romantically, I think he needs someone that understands him better.

but you can pretty much pair anyone up with anyone.

Nigel is just universally pairable, I guess. He can go with anyone. But I like a stronger, more serious type who relates to him.

Ask that to the big guy in charge. Every time some one asks him if this involves 362/1/Lizzie he never says no, he simply either giggles like this hehehe or says wouldn't you like to know. Normally if it doesn't involve some thing at all he would say no, that's what happens. So I say the 362/1/Lizzie love triangle for Operation:Girlfriend is very likely right now.

Um, he tends to give that response to all his questions about pairings. I honestly can't remember when we've been given, pairing-wise, a straight answer.
So I say the Lizzie/1/362 love triangle for Operation: GIRLFRIEND is not very likely right now.

Don't hold your breath for the triangle appearing in an actual episode--except maybe, maybe in a very mild, comedic form. In fact, right now, I'm guessing that this episode will be very different than everyone is expecting it to me. Lizzie and Rachel may be in it--but that doesn't mean they have anything to do with romantic entanglements!

I personally can't stand Lizzie. While she did show some of her good qualities, like being loyal to Nigel, but overall her attitude does not merit a praise. Her negatives far outweighs her positive qualities, and it makes me wonder why Nigel is still with her.

I don't think he's had that many better offers. Also, I think he's afraid of what she would do to him if he tried to leave her. Lizzie is a high maintenance woman, after all. As I know I've said before, though, I'm not anti-Lizzie as a character, I just don't think she's a good match for Nigel romantically. Mr. W disagrees, though, and at the end of the day, his is the opinion that counts.
