Not sure about favourite line, but I loved Nigel's facial expression when at the very end he said, "And I have no idea what I just said."  A british friend of mine said the slang used is called cockney. Most of the "wink wink nudge nudge" guy seemed to be taken from a Monty Python skit as well. Well actually, their accents are 'cockney', but remember how they said things that rhymed with what they actually meant? (they used one for 'library' but I've forgotten it now) That's called cockney rhyming slang. People don't actually use it nowadays, it was used more in the 1930s! ;D I don't know what Monty Python sketch it was taken from, but yeah I can imagine there being a Monty Python character like that. *shrugs* Oh yeah, and a 'lorry' is basically a truck or large van. I'm surprised they don't use that in other places actually. Speaking of translating English to American, there were a number of times during my holiday in the U.S where my dad would go in a fast food shop and ask for a portion of 'chips'. Mind you, it was nothing like the mess he got himself into at France the year after that. |

It was actually season 6 but CN is airing episodes in a weird order. Operation IT is supposed to close season 5, and happen before ZERO, but isn't that supposed to be on in America tomorrow or something?

Since the much bigger Operation: ENGLAND/AWARDS thread from the Season 5 board has been moved here to Season 6, there's no real need for this smaller, single-episode ENGLAND thread anymore, soooo.
