Okay, I'm just finishing listening to the album for the sixth time. I've looked it up on Wikipedia. So the narrator is Jesus of Suburbia, and St Jimmy is his split personality? That's kind of strange.

The song last ride in doesn't have any words to it. It's a song mike wrote. I dunno how to get the video to it, but on the music video dvd I have, the song just has a bunch of clips of them just fooling around.
And about Jesus of Suburbia, St.Jimmy and Jesus of suburbia are the same person.. uh and yeah. umm It's hard to explain. Ok, at the start he IS jesus of suburbia. But as time goes on he changes his whole personality basically and he leaves everything and starts over as St.Jimmy which really isn't so good since instead of turning to something better he gets more confuzed with everything and he gets worse. And at the end he basically has become st.jimmy, in one of their songs it says "the jesus of suburbia is a lie" cause he is gone, he believes he was never 'himself' when he was home.
wow long explanation xD

Also in that album, I noticed that there were references to a lot of the other songs in the album. Especially in Letterbomb.
Rage and Love.
Jesus of Suburbia: I'm the son of rage and love The Jesus of Suburbia
We Are the Waiting: Rage and love, story of my life The Jesus of Suburbia is a lie
Letterbomb: You're not the Jesus of Suburbia The Saint Jimmy is a figment of Your father's rage and your mother's love
In love and in debt.
Jesus of Suburbia: While the moms and Brads are away To fall in love and fall in debt
Letterbomb: "What's in love is now in debt" On your birth certificate
The city burns
We Are The Waiting: This dirty town Is burning down In my dreams
Letterbomb: The city's burning "It's not my burden"
The dawning of our lives
Holiday: This is the dawning of the rest of our lives
She's a Rebel: She sings of revolution The dawning of our lives
Nobody cares
Jesus of Suburbia: I don't care if you don't (repeat many times)
Homecoming: And nobody cares And nobody cares Does anyone care If nobody cares?
Nobody likes you
Start of Letterbomb: Nobody likes you Everyone left you There're all out without you Having fun
Middle and end of Homecoming: Nobody likes you Everyone left you They're all ou without you Having fun
An American idiot
American Idiot: Don't wanna be an American Idiot
Letterbomb: Made me the idiot American

What I don't understand is why Lettbomb has so many of those. Isn't most of it from Whatshername's perspective?

And yeahhhh I'm pretty sure jesus and whatshername are telling letterbomb. "you're not the jesus of suburbia" "she said i can't take this place" so both I'd bet most.

I thought the bit on the letter in the lyrics book is from Whatsherface's perspective, and the bit on the side was from Jesus' perspective.
And I'm pretty sure Extraordinary Girl is in third person.
Sometimes he feels like dying She gets so sick of crying
