Dude know what would be cool? If we all like each made our own 200x200 square and it would have to do with like anything about how you feel about Green Day.. it can be any song of theirs or just any feelin at all... like as an example it might make you feel like you have to get up and do something about whats happening and you could draw a fist with signs on and around it.. or whatever.. just make it original. And then at the end, we could put them all together into like a quilt-like thing

Apparently, when he wrote this song, Billie Joe was extremely tired, since his son kept him awake for a whole night or something.
Yep, a tired state can make you take weird actions...and write weird songs.

I don't think that's why he wrote it. Somebody else said that he said in an interview that it explained the effects of Wormwood, an alchoholic drink. But that's just somebody else...
I think it's for the same reasons as 'Basket Case'.

hmm.. maybe I'm not thinking hard enough.. but is the man in that picture like the one on the cover of Insomniac? It reminded me of it.. Kinda like the same art style on the mans face.. hmm
