So what shows did everyone used to watch? I'm going to list some of mine that I can remember. Most of these were Australian or English.
Bananas In Pajamas: From the song:
Bananas in pajamas are coming down the stairs Bananas in pajamas are coming down in pairs Bananas in pajamas are chasing teddy bears 'cause on Tuesday's day they're gonna catch them unawares.
I only just realised how little sense that makes. It's about two bananas named B1 and B2, as well as three teddy bears named Amy, Lulu and Morgan, and the Rat in the Hat. They lived in Cuddle Avenue and had adventures. I used to like it a lot. My sister had the soundtrack. She was five.
Henry's Cat: You never found out who Henry was. The cat was green and he had a blue rabbit friend called Chris Rabbit. And there were a lot of other animal friends. There was an episode involving Robin Hood, and another about Mount Everest. Guess what the joke about its name was.
Banana Man: It was about this kid called Eric who became Banana Man when he ate a banana. His nemisis was Mr Blight. I remember wondering if he was related to Dr Blight from Captain Planet. The only parts I really rememered were the rare times when Banana Man turned back into Eric. One time he got trampled by fangirls, the other time he was romancing the weather lady he was in love with, they were repeating each other's names, then suddenly he changed back. I actually thought of thatscene the first time I saw Operation: KISS.
Where's Wally?: I loved that show so much. It was based on the books, which are called Where's Waldo? in America. There were only about 13 episodes, and in each one, Wizard Whitebeard would give Wally an assignment, so Wally and his dog Woof would enter another place with Wally's walking stick. Then Odlaw, who hadn't been renamed Yllaw, would follow him in and try to steal the walking stick. The narrator would make a fool of himself. At a couple of points, the action would stop and you'd have to find Wally in a picture just like in the books. The episodes would end like that. It was never mentioned how Odlaw got back home.

1-5: At this age it was all about the lovey-dovey, carey-fluffy cartoons like My Little Pony, Rainbow Bright and Care Bears. I was also obsessed with two of my videos (as i've been told by my mum). This Barbie one and this strange, terribly dubbed children's exercise and dance thing. More interests included Tots TV, Bananas In Pajamas and Rosie & Jim.
6-10: Early on, I was still into some of the stuff above. I also went through a small Teletubbies faze when I was 6. About a year after I got into Art Attack and Powerpuff Girls. Then the order kinda went; South Park (yes, when i was 8 xD), then Pokémon, then Digimon, all of which overlapped by the liking of SMTV:LIVE.
11-Present: I was still into Digimon when I was 11. But after that I got into Hamtaro, which lasted for a while. Then it was Friends, and then it was Codename: Kids Next Door, which I still lurve to this very day. =D

Gee, what shows did I watch when I was younger? When I was real small, like 2 or 3, it was all about Sesame Street and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Those shows were the best. I also used to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation with my mom, but I never understood what was going on. When I was around seven years old, it was all about Doug, Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, and Hey Arnold. (Anyone remember Rocko's Modern Life? If you do, you officially rock.) X-Men was another show I watched, but I never understood what the heck was going on there either. Oh, and of course, The Mighty Morphing Power Rangers. I was the Pink Ranger for Halloween! And...I think that's all.

1-5: *didn't have a TV* 6-8: Everything with Ducktales caught my attention. Y'know, those with Scrooge, Donald and others. Disney was my definite obsession. 9-12: All those Canadian cartoons: Angela Anaconda, Why not Mimi?, and that anime... what was it's name again... Totally Spies. I also watched some Beyblade and Justice league (Flash Gordon= old Crush 0_o)

Heh, ya know, when I was little and saw that show, I thought they said "gonna catch their underwears." It was really funny now that I think about it, especially when I heard that lyric while watching the opening/commercial with the bananas chasing those bears. 9-12: All those Canadian cartoons: Angela Anaconda, Why not Mimi?, and that anime... what was it's name again... Totally Spies. I also watched some Beyblade and Justice league (Flash Gordon= old Crush 0_o) Pointless nitpick: Totally Spies is French. Let's see. 1-5: Those old Disney afternoon toons such as DuckTales, Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, TalesSpin, etc. Then there was Tiny Toons Adventures, and I vaguely remember watching Thundercats then, too. I don't quite remember any other shows I watched at that age (4-5). 6-12: Some of the same cartoons as above, plus Animaniacs, the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons (I liked the cartoony one better), Eek the Cat, Sailor Moon... I think shows like Waynehead and C-Bear & Jamal (probably forgotten by many, but I thought they were okay) used to air at those times, too. Basically those days where there used to be more cartoons airing during the weekdays. I wish the Fox channel didn't stop showing cartoons during weekdays, now there's only Saturdays. 13-present: A lot of the above cartoons no longer show at this age range, sadly. Though I've been watching some Disney original shows such as Pepper Ann, the Weekenders, etc. Plus the cartoons showing in the present day, including Codename: Kids Next Door of course.

It was really funny now that I think about it, especially when I heard that lyric while watching the opening/commercial with the bananas chasing those bears. Well I didn't know what pairs were for the first month or two of watching. And now I have the Bananas in Pajamas Christmas Macarina stuck in my head. It really exists. One other show I used to watch a lot was Super Ted. It was about a teddy bear who'd been discarded for being defective or something. An alien named Spotty found him and sprinkled magic dust on him to bring him to life. Then Mother Nature gave him the power to become Super Ted, who could fly and was probably super strong as well. Now that I think about it, there were a lot of spoofs in the names. They looked really weird to me because I didn't really see them written down very often. The main bad guy was called Texas Pete, and he had two sidekicks called Bolt and Boney, I think. Boney was a skeleton. Texas Pete scared me, especially after the episode with the voodoo doll, and the episode where Super Ted lost his memory and they were on a ship headed into the sun.

I watched a lot of shows when I was little. But I'll name some.
Bananas in Pajamas: I used to watch this sometimes when I was little. I really don't remember much from this show, just the fact that there were two bananas in pajamas.
Barney: Yep. I have an episode on tape. I used to watch it until I was 7. I got tired of watching it.
Digimon: I used to watch this in second grade with my friend. On Saturday mornings I'd call up my friend and talk to her about the new episodes, but it was too early to call her.
I watched a lot of Nick shows in my time, but I think I remember watching Rocko's Modern Life and CatDog. When I was six, I used to watch Nick Jr. I loooooved Blue's Clues and Oswald. I also watched Doug, The Angry Beavers, All That, Hey Arnold!, and Figure It Out.
I was also into the Moomins, a Japanese manga show when I was 9. I can still remember the theme song...
I sometimes watched ABC Family shows, like Angela Anaconda. Sometimes I wondered if the creator cut newspaper and stuff to make the characters.
That's all I can remember.
