Man, why do they have to wait like a year for it to be on DVD when they can just do it rght after the movie's in theaters? I'd even buy a pirate copy to get a DVD of this movie.

I saw it yesterday!
Here's a life hint: If you don't normally eat much confectionary, don't consume triple the amount you'd normally have in a month, even if you are watching a movie about a chocolate factory. It won't end well. Believe me...
I really liked the Oompa Loompa pop songs, and thought that this movie was much better than the first one. I noticed that Wonka's characterisation was a little different. I also noticed that he was saying "kay?" a lot. At least he's not saying "savvy?" as well.
Is it a bad thing that I was thinking about the roleplay I was in on this board while watching the movie? Especially when Charlie was described. Lenny the Poor Little Rich Kid won in the roleplay. Charlie is a Rich Little Poor Kid.
I liked the flashbacks. Young Willy had the Headgear of Doom. I'm surprised he could get his mouth open. Why was he trick or treating anyway? Was he a masochist? And why didn't that chocolate he found in the fireplace melt? It was in a fire.
Mike Teavee was my favourite character out of the four brats. He was so jaded.
