They're like a double planet. Charon is about half Pluto's size and it rotates around a shared centre of gravity.
I don't get how you can think that Sedna is a planet though.
What would be a good name for Planet X?

Well, that's what the newspapers said. Like the astrologists care about what name we choose. Besides, I don't have the talent to name planets.

Astrologists? Do you mean astronomers? I don't think that the astrologers are too happy about the new planet. It'd probably throw off their predictions.

Someone spotted my mistake. Yes, I meant astronomers.

www.badastronomy.comGreat astronomy site. Speaking of astrology, aren't some moons bigger than Mercury and Pluto? Shouldn't they be inlcuded in predictions?

In fact, our moon is bigger than Pluto.

Is it? I know that Ganymede is, but I guess I forgot about Earth's moon.

Gaia might be a good name for the new planet. I don't like the name Sedna, though. It's not even Greek/Roman pantheon, it's some antarctic one or something.

Gaia? Nah, Gaia was Earth's goddess, right?

Inuit. She was the goddess of the deepest part of the sea, or something. Antarctica has no natives, so it has no mythology.
Gaia means "earth," so it may not be the best name for a newly discovered planet.

*imagines how an Antarctican native would look*

Maybe 'Oceanus', the Greek titan of water?

Or maybe Goofy?

That's the best one ever. We'd better tell NASA, they're never going to refuse it. Then as soon as it's announced to everybody else via news broadcasts, the planet will be called "Planet Delightfulolo--", I mean, "Planet Goofy"!
