very true and just cause H/g was in this book dont forget theres the next book that might have more h/hr proof..and maybe them goin out Doubt it...JKR "sunk" the H/Hr ship in a recent interview... www.mugglenet.com/jkrinterview2.shtmlScroll down a bit. She and the interviewers talk about it. H/Hr is short for "Harry/Hermione," by the way.

I have! And I've seen it firsthand!!
But it's died down a bit last time I went to Portkey and Fictionalley... (the HP forums I post/lurk at)

There's been a lot of stuff at fandom_wank. It's disturbing.

I pulled an all nighter when I read HP and the HPB. I finished it within six hours. I cried hysterically. I also didn't like it. It read like bad fanfiction...but that's just my opinion.

that's how i felt on like a chapter or two. bad fan fiction. and i would say that JKR did a sloppy job on the whole H/G ship. i mean, c'mon, the second he sees her he's automatically in love??? what happened to taking time to develop a relationship???

I don't like the way it has been done either. *shrugs* I mean, it was clear from the beginning it was going to be Harry/Ginny, but still. It was a bit ... rushed. (?) To be honest, I prefer Harry/Luna, even if it is just friendship (but I like the idea of a couple, too. Just like Harry/Ron ^^) But apart from that, it was a very good book (well, most of it was. Some chapters were ... weird). But the end was depressing. ><

I'm glad I don't read as much Harry Potter fanfiction as other people do. The ships didn't bother me at all.
By the way, Harry/Ginny doesn't come completely out of nowhere. Harry smells Ginny in the love potion in their first lesson with Slughorn.

Harry/Ginny DID seem a bit rushed, IMO. I guess it was how JK wrote it...seemed like a poorly written fanfic to me.

i didnt really like this one either. It was badly written and kind of boring, and the couplings where kind of.... out there, without backup. And, I also see a problem, that parents probally wont be letting thier kids read books six/seven, so JK will loose alot of fans, due to adultish stuff in it. Personally i think the next book is probally going to be really wierd.

The only adultish stuff I saw was Voldemort's uncle whose name ecapes me calling Merope a slut.
