Eh, any sort of singer that appeals to "sk8r boiz" is not going to appeal to me. Some of her songs are decent, but as far as I can tell, she is just another stereotypical singer coughed up by record companies for preteen girls to worship over.

I was an Avril fan when she released her album "Let go" (me= was obsessed with teenage singers). But she started to annoy me since with her "I'm a so cool punk princess" attitude, even though her latest song "He wasn't" was pretty good.

One thing that kinda traumatized me is when she "tried" to sing Green Day's hit "Basketcase". Sorry Avril still hardcore fans, but I found it awful  |

I like most of the songs of Avrils I heard including Sk8er Boi (It IS spelt something like that!) But I hate it when she tries to make videos ESPECIALLY the one for Sk8er Boi - She thinks she's a punk but she's not |

Avril Lavigne is one of the few artists in this music's generation who actually makes me angry. I did like a few of her songs at first, but I started to dislike her the more I read about her. She's so hypicritical and harsh in her interviews and she's a freakin' liar. She claims that she never said that she was punk even though she did, in fact, made that claim in about two or three seperate occasions. She also tried to take credic for the songs in her first that she didn't even write. I could go on for hours why I despise her, but I'll pause right there.

I don't like her, but I like her songs. Like MaxK said, she's a hypocrite and a liar. I really hate the spelling of sk8ter boi. What was she trying to say, that she couldn't spell? It's not really something to be proud of. Six year olds could spell better than that. I know that she was trying to make some sort of statement, but I can't figure out what it was supposed to be. Punks don't use SMS speak, last time I checked.
