Yeah, the headlights became their eyes, the part between the bright metallic thing and the body became the mouth...
There was a car race between them, too. I cracked up when I saw that there was a car on a platform with the checkered flag...

Iread a book about a planet of living cars. It was fairly easy to anthropomorphise them.
