Not to mention she had a prom. Proms are traditionally either a Junior prom (11 grade, 16 to 17 year olds) or the actual Prom prom (seniors, 17 to 18). But seeing as 16 would potentially be too old for the flashback, and that Maurice was able to go, even though he'd still be in the 8th grade (what high schooler would take a 13 year old to their prom, anyway?), I'd say the safest guess would be 15. Hmmm...maybe she skipped a grade?  |
