Alrighty Chapter 9 Caution: super huge 3/4ness *squeal*
Chapter 9
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Numbuhs 3 and 4 were running through the halls of the moonbase trying to get to an elevator, so they could ride up to 180th floor instead of having to climb the stairs all the way up there. Numbuh 3 was barley paying attention to the chaos of the love struck opreatives around her. All she could hear were echos in her head
"Kuki, you look beautiful today."
“Kuki will you go on a date with me sometime”
“I'll only go if I get to sit next to the prettiest girl in the whole world.….”
"But I really wanted to kiss you,"
As these words from numbuh 4 passed through her head as she ran after him, she wondered if numbuh 5 was right and he really did like her back or if it was just Cupid’s love arrow at work. Numbuh 3 was trying to figure out whether she should ask if he meant the things he said to her or not.
“Alright numbuh 3 we finally found a non-broken elevator,” numbuh 4 said, and with that numbuh 3 snapped back to reality.
“Oh yeah that’s great……..” numbuh 3 responded not very interested. As the two entered a near by elevator,
“Is there something wrong numbuh 3,” numbuh 4 asked. As the elevator started to rise upward. Numbuh 3 blushed slightly and looked up at him,
“Well, numbuh 4 I was wondering………,” numbuh 3 started to say then the elevator started to make a loud creaking sound and then it stopped.
“What the crud,” numbuh 4 yelled, then Cupid maniacal laughter could be heard through out the elevator. There was a moment of silence, “What are we gonna do now,” numbuh 4 screamed.
“Wally I need to ask you something,” numbuh 3 said nervously.
“What is it numbuh 3,” numbuh 4 asked. Numbuh 3 blushed then continued.
“Wally, I was wondering……….earlier when you asked me out………..did you really mean it,” she asked. With that a huge blush crept across numbuh 4’s face.
“Um…..uh……..no…..um…….it was Cupid’s arrows,” he said nervously.
“That’s too bad,” numbuh 3 said sadly as she hung her head down.
“What do you mean by that,” numbuh 4 said his attention grasped by numbuh 3’s comment.
“Well…….” numbuh 3 said, “I thought it might be kind of fun to go on a date with you,” with that comment numbuh 4’s face lit up about as bright as a million fireworks. “but….since you don’t wanna go on a date with me it’s okay……..” numbuh 3 started to say but was interrupted by numbuh 4.
“NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” he screamed, “I’d love to go on a date with you,”
“but you just said you didn’t want to,” numbuh 3 said.
“Ignore me, no one listens to the nonsense that comes out of my mouth why start now,” he screamed, “What I’m trying to say is that yeah lets go on a date some time,” he said with a grin.
“Maybe we should wait until this whole Cupid thing is over,” numbuh 3 said.
“Yeah, we should probably figure out how to get out of this elevator” numbuh 4 agreed, “but the question is how?”
