I kinda like 4/Lenny. It's probably my favorite KND/DC couple simply because they've had the most interaction. Also, love/hate couples = ♥. Yes, exactly. It's only a few people who do that, I think. I hope. "IM GONNA KILL YOU!" was a bit extreme, though.

Actually you are a 'homophobe'[1] if you
1) Fear people with non-standard sexual orientations. -or- 2) You fear them and that fear drives you to hateful actions towards such people. (this is the most common definition)
Having an "Ew!"[2] reaction towards such relationships is not homophobia. It's simply a matter of taste.
I'm an egalitarian, and as such, I believe that people (consenting, adult people of course) should be free to do whatever makes them happy and emotionally fulfilled and that people should not be discriminated against if their peculiar kinks fall outside the standard societal mores. Conversely, I believe in my right to not like what those people get up to.
On another note, some of the ew-ness (Hey! I invented a word!) comes from the fact that while people may not be opposed to the idea of same-sex relationships they are simply shocked to find them in a kid's cartoon (or a work derived from it). Note that I'm not saying that kid's cartoons should ignore the reality of same-sex relationships (conversely I do believe that shows shouldn't all contain a token gay[3] character) I'm just saying that people are unused to such things in a cartoon.
Footnotes: [1]My inner linguaphile rebels at this word. If you look at the roots it means 'fear of the same'. [2] Or another (perhaps more tactful) expression of distaste. [3] I want this word back. I would also like 'faggot' (a bundle of wood) and 'queer' (odd, peculiar) if you don't mind.

Egalitarianism is the moral doctrine that equality ought to prevail throughout society. A person that's an adherent of egalitarianism is called an egalitarian.

Fine. I'll write it in very simple words.
An egalitarian is a person who believes that everyone should have equal rights.
Was that better?

And it can also be quite hurtful, too (we do have homosexuals/bisexuals on this Forum, you know). I'm not saying that you (and these other people) have to be turned on by guy/guy or girl/girl relationships. I would would just appreciate it if people were just a little more respectful. And if they don't have anything nice to say, why say anything at all? By the way, 0xFF, this isn't really a hit at you. It's more directed at the childish little n00bs.

I understand I'm not under attack here, but allow me to repeat one sentence from my post (note bolding): Or another (perhaps more tactful) expression of distaste. People who feel uneasy ("Ew!" so to speak) when confronted with same sex couples are blameless (we are entitled to our aesthetics) those who say "Ew!" are not guilty of homophobia but only a lack of tactfulness. Those that act upon their "Ew!" reflex, those are homophobes. Also as I repeated before, sometimes the "Ew!" comes more from the fact that we are simply unaccustomed to think about our favourite characters in such a way. To (jocularly) paraphrase Mushi: "You can't really slash her, she's, like, ten years old!" ;D

Sammeh quote: "Eeep, when did this Forum get so many homophobes. Every slash thread I go to I always see, "ewww" and "that's gross" and stuff. " In my defense, I'm not a homophobe. One of my favorite cartoon couples is slash- Sailor Neptune/Uranus from Sailor Moon (Dumbed down version they are cousins, in Japan version they are a couple). I don't want anyone to think I am ;D since the post was right below mine. I just don't see it and Lenny makes me cringe! My post sounded wrong.

I guess if you do look at the image twice, the expression on his face looks like a "Oh man, he's not going to go out with me tonight!" expression.

Numbuh 0xFF (holding a big mallet): Dark in here, isn't it?
;D
Okay, I'll admit that with some convincing I can make myself interpret the picture like that. I still think the 'friendship lost' theory is better than the slash one. Not because of the 'slash-thing' but because of the proof on hand.

I haven't seen the episode yet (but darn, I want to!), but Lenny looks to me like he's sad/slightly panicky that Numbah 4 is mad at him. He's got the 'Please don't be mad at me! I'm sorry!' look on his face.
... and in my slash infested mind, I'm agreeing with what Agent 000 had Lenny thinking (who knows? He may have been thinking more then one thing). Lenny won't get a date since Wally'll be snubbing him. Poor Lenny.
*puts on Lenny's helmet and runs for cover*
