A thread for those silly couples-that-will-never-be, so aren't enough tohave a full thread all to themselves.
Note: This is not for listing the craziest couples you can think of. This is for crack couples AND the justification. Not for couples you think "Hey, this'll freak people out lololollipop".
This is more for the reasoning, not the couples.
2/Lizzie: Call me crazy, but I like this in theory. Lizzie likes the more romantical stuff, and Hoagie does put in the effort (SITTER). He'd be more attentive than Nigel, certainly. In practice, however, they just wouldn't get along.
Tommy/86: The 2/Cree that never was. I get the feeling Tommy has more in common with his brother than just his mechanical skills. Such as his taste in women. An older girl with a strong personality would be just his type. Yet Fanny seems like she'd be less prone to pounding him into a wall. From GRADUATES, Fanny seems to be a bit more tolerant of him, probably because she has younger brothers, and Mr. Boss seems to promote harmony among the siblings.
65.3/362: Just thought of this one. Why? Who knows. I just started thinking about how they're both very By-The-Book, but Herbie is willing to bend the rules under certain circumstances, whereas Rachel sticks to protocol, even if it means an evil villian running the organization. Which got my mind playing with the idea of Herbie leaving an anonomous love note among the forms and Rachel getting irritated that someone keeps leaving stuff addressed to "the bravest, the brainiest, the blondest, the most beautiful girl in the Kids Next Door" in her inbox. And who keeps using the interoffice mail for personal correspondence, anyway? Better send a memo out on that...

LOL Lately I've been watching IT a lot so I guess this counts: (Although I am still a 100% 1/362 shipper) 362/blonde DCFDTL boy? Well if you want an explanation I guess in it she put her finger on him to tag him and she was nice to him defending him from nigel......I really was on Crack sugar....I remember it was Friday and I had a GIANT PARTY with my friends watching KND and playing my video games and it was like one of my friends she's all! "VIOLATION! SHE IS DOING!!!!!!" (Remember sugar.....) and then I was like "ooooooooooooooooh......." and my other friend is all "SHE'S CHEATING ON NIGEL!!!" and then she came up with a fanfiction....boy it was a long night........XDD

Chad/Nigel: After watching Treaty it made me become a shipper. I know it won't ever happen but I say what the hey. And even though they hate each other, I've seen ships that have become cannon even though they had a love/hate relationship, Cindy/Jimmy fromy Jimmy Neutron any one? Any ways, not saying it will happen. I enjoy there rivalry towards each other, its fun.

Even though I can't think of one, I'm surprised no one's done this yet:

I always marked for 4/Lizzie. No real reason, though I had a great idea for a Pulp Fiction parody with it.

For some reason ever since Operation ZERO I've had that idea that if 362 had met Zero when he was a kid they may have fallen for each other.
They're both supereme leaders during some pretty tough times in KND history. Monty loves the job like crazy, Rachel gets super stressed from it. They'd be great to balance each other out.

Maybe 362 goes back in time, meets Monty, marries him, and she's really Nigel's MOM!

This looks like fun. Let me get started.
Hoagie/Laura
Laura Limpin has largely been wasted as a character, especially since she also represents the KND equivilent of the Girl Scouts. Since fans are predisposed to think of her as a villain, it's a lot of fun to write her as a sympathetic heroine while still keeping her character reconizable. You could have Nigel or Wally as the one to find the nice girl deep within the behemoth, but I perfer Hoagie. Hoagie is sometimes typecasted as a fat goof, but he also works well as a rising young underdog hero.
Writing under this idea has produced a lot of good stories, so much so that I hesitate to even call it a "crack pairing."
And while we're on the subject of time-travel love affairs:
Nigel/Young Lasso Lass
Nigel is offput by the eccentric Lasso Lass, but he carries respect for the kid she once was. What if Nigel had the chance to meet Lasso Lass in her adult-fighting prime; I'd bet he come away with a different impression of her.
