The wind blew softly, as petals danced across the late morning dew of the grass. There stood a priest, holding a bible. A little not so far from the priest stood a young man, at the age of twenty-two breathed in and out over and over. He had a bald head, also wearing trademarked sunglasses from his childhood long ago.
“No need to be nervous, Nigel…” he had told himself millions of times.
Nigel Uno’s wedding day had finally come. He wore a smooth, dark tuxedo, with a little white gardenia on the left side. He swiftly rocked back and forth on his shoes, nervously.
Rachel T. McKenzie had never looked more beautiful in her life. And of course to Nigel, he thought she was always beautiful since they were eleven-years-old. Even with that samurai helmet, she had still looked beautiful. She wore the most glorious whitest dress that Nigel had ever seen, as it only had reached to her knees. She was the most beautiful bride ever, walking down the path of the park to her future spouse’s side.
Not Lizzie, not Abby, not anyone but being married to Rachel Tristan McKenzie, the girl of Nigel’s dreams, was finally coming true.
