I never liked 86/19th Century. I don't know why. When I saw CAKED-FIVE, I thought the contrast of the couple would be almost impossible to surpass. I mean, if Numbuh 19th Century is going to continue with mocking girls like that, I have a feeling Numbuh 86 won't be able to handle it. Not that she could. XD

I dont' think it'd last long term, either. I think it was more of a novelty for both of them. But that would wear off in a week, month tops, and they would resent each other again.

I honestly can't see her with anyone other than Rachel.
CAKED-FIVE had to be the most OOC Fanny has ever been in the entire series. For her to suddenly swoon because 19th Century threw a few compliments her way? It just doesn't make sense to me that the boy hater suddenly gets a crush on the most chauvinistic character to date.
I also can't see her with Hoagie, either. It's kind of cute in fanart form, but to me it just seems like a sort of "leftover" pairing. (By leftover, I mean, "We have 1/Lizzie, 5/Heinrich and 3/4... we need someone for Hoagie... OKAY FANNY'S GOOD.") If it's based off of their interactions in PINK-EYE, I don't think it's got a solid base because while yeah he flirted, he was only doing it as part of the "old detective" bit. Right after you see the two biting each others' heads off in argument. He's also scared as hell of her in FUGITIVE and it's clear she doesn't like him, and in ZERO all I sensed was hate, hate and more hate. I just don't see it, kids. o___O
The only thing I don't have much of an explaination for is her (former?) crush on Numbuh 4. It was based on looks, we know that much. But that's probably as far as it would go, considering she thinks he's an idiot as well.
[/my two cents]

Actually, I liked 2/86 before I liked 5/Heinrich, thank you very much.

Um, that's fine? I wasn't trying to direct anything at you, though. There's lots of 2/86 shippers. o__O
I'd originally written it as "1/5 and 3/4 now we need someone for Hoagie" but I personally don't support 1/5 anymore so. Any way you look at it, Hoagie is still "leftover". Again, my opinion.

Leftover pairings are only for people who absolutely MUST ship every single person with someone else. Others, like me, only ship what they see.
Problem being perspective, since no one sees all the same things. Or rather, they do see the same things, but interpret them different ways.

Of course, you see what you want to see, and all - it's all about your perspective. But I still think they pretty much hate each other, and I'm really not sure how fear and constantly butting heads can equal love. Yup. :/ Also, I've always found the "omg I love 2/86, she is so mean but Hoagie will calm her down" "Lizzie is so mean, she shouldn't be with nigel" thing hilarious. Like...do those people even hear themselves? I'm not saying you can't like one and not like the other, but using the same argument for 1/L and 2/86 and coming up with different outcomes is funny. (And no, I'm not directing that comment at anyone.)

It is pretty ridiculous. I still dont' see why so many people dislike Lizzie. Father has a bigger fanbase than she does.
Heck, the Toilenator has a bigger fanbase than Lizzie.

Joke or sarcasm?
Well, either way, the most irritating Lizzie bash I've ever seen was when someone said he/she'd rather Nigel be with anyone that wasn't Lizzie. Even 86. I developed an eyetwitch shortly thereafter.

No, that was pretty true - perhaps and exaggeration, but that's it. The irrational hatred towards Lizzie confounds me. It's canon. They like each other. I'm sorry you/your OC/girl-of-your-choice isn't dating him.

Maybe they'd have liked her better if she was skinny, blonde, and a wilting flower with no spine and less personality. Like most hero girlfriends.

awww....i mean, sure Lizzie aint a tops on my list of favs...but she's still up there. I agree with Nella about hero gfs.
back to 86: well, at this point in time, i think she should she just stay single and live for a bit. Sure, im a huge 2/86 fan, and a 86/362 fan, but hey...i can see either two of these ships when theyre a little bit older.
