Saying that the dream was a nightmare, and thus everything in it was what Nigel ~didn't~ want doesn't exactly work I think. I'm more supportive of the idea that it vaguely reflected his subconciousness. The old sector V exaggerated specific parts of their personalities until they were OOC - such as Kuki's ability to snap like her mother or Wally's stupidity or Abby's detication to the KND. Or the fact that the new Sector V practically were counterparts for the old one. Regardless, as far as Lizzie is concerned, I think it's indicitive of the ~possibility~ to Nigel that they'd stay together. Again, on an exaggerated level: they like each other now, so they're married in the future.

That exaggeration theory is actually quite brilliant. But while that may be true, the outcome isn't what Nigel wanted. He was obviously stressed out over the changes in all his friends. He didn't like them like that. He didn't want the world the way it was, with the government on the verge of eliminating the KND. I think the dream/nightmare expressed some of his worst fears- he and his friends becoming adults and becoming exactly what they've been fighting against.
