Thank you. ^^
That one came from the thought that Heinrich doesn't have a lot of respect for anyone. But if he and Abby were friends or partners in crime, he would have had to respect her for her to get to that level with him. And Heinrich would probably appreciate another conoseiur of candies, much as Stickybeard does (though Sticky probably respects it more than Heiny would), and her skills may have impressed him when he wasn't bitter and homicidal towards her.
And then we get into the complicated part of my thought process.

And I've also been tossing around the idea of either a fic or comic based on your theory, Suki.
Do you always give people ideas without knowing it?

I have no idea. They never tell me. T-T
Actually, I have my own idea which, depending on CARAMEL, could be a prequel or sequel to the series. ^^

Bumpity-bump-bump-bump
All right, I'm brainstorming ideas for my little Suki-inspired 5/Heinrich how-they-met story concept, but I'm still stumped as to what Heinrich's going after that's gonna be SO dangerous to get that he has to hire Abby to help out.
Suggestions? Parodies are just fine ^^

The candy doens't have to be dangerous. The protections, on the other hand, do.
So, let's first decide what kind of candy, hm? Any preferences?
Let's start with what it should NOT be:
1. It shouldn't be your basic flavored sugar, as that was done in JEWELS 2. Not caramel, for obvious reasons 3. Chocolate was done in RABBIT 4. Licorice has been taken care of. 5. Probably wanna stay away from marzipan
So, we still have plenty left. Jawbreakers could be fun for an Indiana Jones joke. Jelly beans, gum drops, cotton candy (I have such an idea for this...), toffee, taffy, suckers/lolipops, peanut brittle, candied fruits...

Ah, yes, a lot of ideas there...
...perhaps I should take more time to think about this little aspect. All I know is that I want booby traps. Lots of 'em.

That's a given. But as to the TYPE of booby traps... I can help with those, as I have a twisted mind, but they will be dependant at least somewhat on the theme of the ruins, which will be based on the candy.

Mm, true. So I probably should wait a while until I think of something good, before I promise anything. 'sides, I've got other KND stuff to finish up

Well, when you think of something and if you still need help, you know where to turn. ^^
Now for some line analyzation.
In JEWELS, when Heinrich picks up the Blurbleberry Supreme, he asks Abby, "Und vhy is this candy so important... to you?"
There's that pause... that tiny little barely noticible pause. No emphasis on the "to you", but the beat makes it seem... significant. As if her personal connection to the candy was important to him.
Plus it makes me all shivery. ^^
Thoughts?

I personally feel that the piece of candy she was trying to get back dident actually mean anything to her I feel she was doing this just to bond with heinrich ^_~

Actually, she was getting it to give it to Nigel. So the story line says....I feel it was so she could bond with heinrich.

Normally, I have no problem with speculation, but she didn't even know Heinrich was there. She just wanted her candy back, and HE wanted to get revenge for Guatemala.

Yes but that may not be true as we do not know there past. She could have very well known he was going to be there as well as it could have been vise versa.

about the type of candy: How about the sparkling jellies, like fruit pastels or something? They're all glittery and so could be seen as something extremely precious... worth guarding fiercely.
