What, no gay couples? And yet every possible male/female character either has a crush or could possibly be in love. (Or as you put it, "slightly canon") One time characters seem to be free to be paired up with, even though the chance of THAT appears to be slim. Not to mention that you didn't have any problem pairing Four up with an ADULT.
I call bullshit.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Whoa.
First off, it was an unrequited CRUSH on an adult. However, I can take it off if you want.
Second, did you READ the first post? Sadly, while slash is fun, it doesn't even have a CHANCE of happening in the KND universe.
Third, here's a further explanation of this system...
Canon - No matter how big or small the fan following, there is canon proof that at least one of these two shows an interest in the other, from calling the other one "cute", to a full-blown relationship.
Almost Canon - A big enough fan following (not to mention proof) is behind this couple that one might consider this couple pretty much canon, except for the fact that they don't actually HAVE a romantic relationship yet.
Slightly Canon - Basically, every other non-slash pair in the KND fanbase. Very little to no proof. In fact, sometimes the only thing "canon" about this couple is the fact that the two characters exist in the same show, and yet people STILL ship them. *coughTommyMushicough*

Second, did you READ the first post? Sadly, while slash is fun, it doesn't even have a CHANCE of happening in the KND universe. I did read the first post, and I found it funny how you decided not to include them based on chance. Perhaps that is what upset me the most. If you are going to base the system on chance, then that huge thing will certainly be slimmed down. 99% of them wouldn't even be on there, leaving pretty much 1/Lizzie and 3/4 by themselves. What makes up "proof" for most of these can possibly be (and is) friendship interaction. What makes straight friendship worthy of love, while any amount of gay interaction short of kissing and joining a gay pride parade is just "friendship"? I am not saying that gay friendship should be crazed over like love, but we should rethink at least half of the interactions on the show. Perhaps I wasn't justified in blowing up at you, but my reason (not excuse, mind you) is that I interpreted the lack of slash as a sign that slash is "second class," hence it doesn't deserve the focus and adoration as couples such as 1/5. With something like this, people are bound to interpret the data differently. If the show was hugely romance-orientated, then this chart would be fine, even necessary. But it ISN'T. We know of two certain couples (1/Lizzie and 3/4) and that's all. With a show like this, the only thing left to fill the gaps of few canon and possible joke crushes is fan interpretation. Unfortunately, that is bad.

That might explain why you included Tommy/362. I honestly don't see anything there.

No, I included Tommy/362 because I KNOW there are people who may support them.
Y'know what? I'm gonna put slash on there, and be more specific about this thing..."Almost canon" will be changed to "Non-canon, but highly provable/supported", and "Slightly canon" will be changed to "Non-canon, not highly provable/supported"

Geez, I think you're seriously overreacting, Diala. This is a fan project....she can do whatever the hell she wants with it. I think you're being a bit touchy. Take a chill pill, dude.
artgirlb, nice job overall. Props to you for not losing your cool when confronted with .....erm,critisism.

Personally I think only pairings with actual canon support, whether one-sided or mutual, should be up there (not friendshippy kind but actual romantic/crush support), but that's me.

Well, then technically you'd eliminate most of the popular ships...since their proof is basically a matter of opinion....coughany2shipcough

I am NOT attacking her. Maybe my words are not soft (WHICH I ADMITTED), but I am certainly not attacking her. She can just ignore me all she wants. I am just giving criticism. Is that so horrible? Do you wish for an apology? Fine. I am sincerely sorry for what I said. Perhaps I shouldn't have let my emotions run through. I just felt that the exclusion of slash is some sort of ill indication against gays. I was wrong. Now I'll get out of your thread and to wallow in my own damn guilt.

Diala...really...I'm sorry if I unintentionally offended you or anyone else. You DON'T have to feel guilty. I forgive you.

No Diala its not your fault. I think you brought up a great point that no one else would touch. Good for you. . .and (off topic) I think I know you. o0;

While I don't think I'm as upset as Diala, I do think that there's something wrong with excluding slash couples. You say you base what you include off probability? Okay, sure, I accept that. If you write off slash couples as near-impossible (which, let's face it, are pretty much that in the KND-canon) most of the ships on the web should go. Many of the het couples you included are just as "supported" as slash couples. Either both het and slash should be featured, or many of those het ships shouldn't be up there. It's just that there's kind of a double standard - albeit unintentional - going on here. And that's my two cents. ^^; Now I'll get out of your thread and to wallow in my own damn guilt. You have no reason to feel guilty. (Other than snapping). But you have no need to wallow in guilt.
