If I was the one who voted Numbuh 10, then scratch that. Actually, suddenly I think Numbuh 2 is just as happy single as anybody like me would be.  But if I was destined to choose, then I would choose Numbuh 3. They're both light in spirit, plus Operation: CAMP was just.. adorible. ^^ The reason I didn't choose Numbuh 5 (like lots of others.. XD) is because they've got too many differences. Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against the couple that would offend anybody in any sort of way. Its just that they couldn't balance each other out, through my strange excuse of an imagination. But anyways, I'm not here to point out negative aspects of 2/5, just as there are negative aspects to each and every couple anybody may decide to choose. So, yeah. I'd choose Numbuh 3. Though it is not one of my preferred couples. ;; |

Abby and Nigel balance each other out because they're very similar? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of "balance" (used in context of most shipping discussions)? I don't really get this...most people I know would hate being in a couple with someone too much like themselves. And the best couples I know are between people who aren't really that alike at all. I wasn't trying to say that people that are totally the same are perfect for each other. I'm mentioned this before actually. I believe it should be a balance between being the same and being different.
Besides, nobody in the series is exactly the same. Nigel and Abby may be similar in some ways, but are different in other ways. In fact, Hoagie and Abby are similar in some ways as well, though not totally obvious to me, yet.. Hoagie and Abby are just not as similar as Nigel and Abby, through my perspective. XD But anyways, this is sort of off topic. I shouldn't be talking about 1/5 in the first place. *blushes*

A while back in the original 2/5 thread we made a list of things about how the two characters complete each other, and it seemed to be a pretty good balance. I agree that those kind of couples work nicely, plus they're entertaining for us to watch! ;D
One thing I have to say though, this is just my opinion but I don't think Numbuh 2 would be very happy on his own. Just think of what he's like around Cree and when he talks about Numbuh 10; he always acts so romantic and gets so excited, and when he's with Cree he always tries hard to get her to like him. It only seems right for him to find someone soon!

Ah, actually that's a good point. You're right, Numbuh 2 is very interested in girls. However, for now, I think he just wants to, you know, "mingle," if you know what I mean.
But I can't prove that. It's up to Numbuh 2. XD
