Why did 86 brag to Number 1? Would consider it..

Romantic hint between 86 and 1 or not? And if you don't think its romantic try and explain why she rubed it in Number 1 face, becuase that part always gets me confused

Well, N86 has some strong feelings towards N1, but they are more on negative side.

See, she is a bureaucrat. The one who upholds the system. And N1 is a hero in the purest sense of the word. Bureaucrats always have strong dislike for heroes, because hero's very existence shows bureacrats that their ways to live are wrong. As a self-defense mechanism, N86 and her kind try to rub hero's faces in the dirt every chance they get.

362 had been ABOUT to give that position to Nigel. But because of his "bad behavior" she gave it to Fanny instead.

So Fanny then rubs it in his face, because he "lost."

Oh, gosh. That one of my favorite parts of the movie. Numbuh 86 was hilarious when she was rubbing it in Numbuh 1's face- simply hilarious. XD

Naw, I don't think it had any romance in it. Unless you want to see it as Numbuh 86 wanting Nigel to notice her, which is a bit improbable. Otherwise, it was just Numbuh 86 being comedically obnoxious.

But I would have to say no, it wasn't really romantic. More of "I am so much better than you, Nigel Uno. So HA! In your face!" Numbuh 86 bragging. She just wanted to annoy him.

But it was still so cute and almost flirting-like.

Yeah... I'd LOVE to believe it's really proof (I'm a 1/86 shipper, so sue me,) but it's really more like that she's saying that once again, the girl beats the boy at something and that boys are inferior, and all that sexist stuff...

I think she's always secretly been jealous of numbuh 1, she sucks up to numbuh 362 and a "stupid boy" usually proves her wrong or beats her like in that episode with the DCFDTL spilling toe-nails...( don't know the name) I think she just wanted favoritism from numbuh 362 over nigel...
