I relate 'cliche' to 'oversimplified', because I see too many couples being explained in one sentence or phrase. Couples stand out more in my mind when you CAN'T explain them so simply. While I can see one leading into another, "Cliche" actually means, as Wikipedia explains it, "a phrase, expression, or idea that has been overused to the point of losing its intended force or novelty, especially when at some time it was considered distinctively forceful or novel." I love Wikipedia.

Here's my 10 dollars. Yes, those three pairing have been SO obvious it's already thought-of as 'overused'. But it's not so bad because it unites a lot of different people from different countries!(the ship where I belong to, as a good proof!!) But either way, I don't usually fuss over stuff like that. I just look at those pairings, and say, "Yay, good for them ;D ". But sometimes, they get pretty tiring after too much expressions of their support... @ Cliches: Very precise definition.
