There's basically only one canon couple in the entire show, and that's 1/Lizzie. If you consider 3/4 as canon, or 86/19thCentury as canon, then there's more than one. There are lots of 1/Lizzie fans, lots of 1/Lizzie criss-crossers, and lots of 1/Lizzie haters. So, as unifilar said, a couple doesn't have to be canon to be your favorite.
Numbuh 1's best with...?? Numbuh 5. ;D See? Completely un-canon. Or is it?

I know there are a lot of fanfics where Numbuh 1 and Lizzie break up, but I don't know whether it would happen in the show - it's just that they seem to both like each other. But I am still wondering if it'll turn out that Numbuh 5 likes Numbuh 1 even though she knows he's with Lizzie. After all, a bit of jealousy's always fun to watch...
And I admit it, even though I'm a 2/5 shipper I voted for Numbuh 5 on this thread, mainly because even though I might prefer her with someone else I still think she suits Numbuh 1 as well. *wonders if any other 2/5 shippers are reading this* Please don't kill me!!

See, I like 1/5 when it's well done. In my opinion, this seldom happens. Most 1/5 I see seems to be OOC to me - either they're too mature for their age or the fic is just badly written. It's unfortunate, really. For having such a large fanbase, 1/5 could do better. What turned me off from 1/5 initially was the fans. ^_^;

But I understand what you mean. But you've got to admit, there are a few loyal, dedicated 1/5 fans around here. Those ones that are all goofy and crazy about it are just living proof that 1/5 is something to go crazy over. ;D
I guess you're right.. some 1/5 fans are just being immature. But on the other hand, there are people like that who don't ship 1/5. There could be 2/5, 2/86, 2/Cree, 3/4, 1/3, 1/Lizzie, and even 1/Delightful fans who are insanely immature.
I shouldn't be saying immature, should I? *blush*
