Oh! Announcement! You may or may not remember that a while back I said I was looking at more arts-oriented high schools. Well, after waiting for what seemed like an ETERNITY, I got accepted to my top choice! It's a boarding school (NO PARENTS!), and I've already taken a tour, so I KNOW I like it and...and...I'm just excited! NO MORE PUBLIC SCHOOL! WOO!
(I was considering making a thread for this in Real Life, but that would be conceited, wouldn't it?)

Congratulations! Needless to say you deserve it. However, be wary of potential exposure to girlification radiation -- we've had a spate of trouble with that in boarding schools as of late[1]

I'm so very busy. In the next 30 days I have somewhere in the vicinity of eight-to-ten major grade-determining tests o' doom. Also, apparently, I'm supposed to design a CPU by the end of the semester.

I just recently got my mitts on season 28 (I love saying that...) and fragments of Season 27 and I was instantly smitten. Really sharp writing, funny as hell, great actors and it positively exudes Britishness.
Anyone else a Whovian?

@s.J.Edmondson If by 'catch' you mean 'bit-torrent the moment it aired', then yes. ;D I'll probably take a while for me to warm up to the new companion (it always does) but otherwise I've enjoyed the experience immensely. Especially the bit near the end when the Doctor mouths "it's bigger on the inside" just as she says it. Perfect. Seeing that generations of Brits grew up with Doctor Who it's no wonder that the Isles positively teem with really good SF writers. Apropos to nothing I want everyone to look at the following clip:
