First time I watched GOF, David Tennant was pretty unknown.
But re-watching it just reminds me how good an actor he is, playing Barty Crouch Jr. But yes now, I can't watch it.
My family (of mine =]) all groaned when I pointed out the chest he kept MadEye in was "bigger on the inside".
I don't know how they are going to pull of the next movie, its a PG, there appears to be a fantasy sequence of Voldemort at the train station (meaning they are adding scenes. Why!? Its the longest book!). Being a PG I want to see how they try not to make it that dark.
That and I have a feeling that the last 20 minutes will be Radcliffe being cringibly angst, after the death of *insert name here as I don't know how to use spoiler tags*. And speaking of the actors how old are they now.
They'll be twenty when they're finished!
@doctor Who again
Loved the gasmask zombies, the transformation scenes had me hiding!
Shame about the Cybermen, sort of scary but more of a "yourheretoprovehowgoodthedaleksare" evil. Much better in the old series.
Unless they bring them back. They'll find a way.
Torchwood (the spinoff) tried re-soing cyberWOmen, but like the rest of Torchwood, it was lackluster.

@doctor Who discussion ...excuse me...I think my brain just exploded from trying to understand you two... @hp actors' ages So what if they're twenty? Plenty of twenty-year-olds have played teens before. @if anyone cares Finished that WIP. But please - comment on the thread.

I know they can act. I'm more worried about how they are gonna fit the entire book into the film. =S
Especially as it is the longest book.
I'm preparing for disappointment.

The third film was enough disappointment for me. I didn't bother seeing the fourth movie, and won't bother with the fifth. After I read the seventh book, I'm done with the HP fandom.

@hp fandom Meh...I really couldn't get into HP or the fandom. And you thought this fandom was wacky? @aquarium Took my older daughter on a class trip to the local aquarium (down the Jersey shore) today. It reawakened my old childhood interest in marine life. Maybe I'll take a class for fun when I start school. @ Ghost HuntersNew episode last night! I needed a ghost fix--haven't been watching any spookie hamster ghostie shows since I got caught up in House, and all the spookie shows were in repeats for the longest time anyway...

@random-
So yeah, I went to the Naruto movie with a friend last night. Moreso, we went to the theatre, but it was sold out, so we bought tickets for Shrek, but went into the Naruto movie anyway. *ahem*
It's funny cause the hardcore fans range from 8 year old boys to 40 year old males. Most of the fangirls there were teenaged, aside from the mothers bringin' their kids. There was a group of people around my age in front of me in the line that were all cosplaying. They had the headbands and facepaint and whatnot.
And this was my first "gathering" of anime fans, and I felt like I was going to a midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. People kept talking and cheering the entire time... yeah...

@re: gatherings of fans
Ah, I remember when I first went to a SF fan meeting. I was just flabbergasted -- I wasn't the strangest person in the room! For, possibly, the very first time in my life. Imagine that.
@re: Doctor Who
*giggle* Bigger on the inside! Right! How could I have not noticed! ;D Was it blue, though?
@re: HP movies
I was continuously unimpressed with them. I will probably catch the latest ones when convenient -- but I'm not holding my breath.
@re: Ghost Hunters
Bah! Humbug!

@naruto movie
Huh wha? There's a movie out? This is the first I ever heard of it. Wow. Didn't see any commercials for it.
@cosplay
Haven't been to any conventions where there's cosplaying. The only fandom cosplaying I did was when I dressed up as Vampire Hoagie a couple of Halloweens ago...
@"I wasn't the strangest person in the room! Imagine that!"
No comment... ;D
Kidding. ;D We wouldn't like you as much as we do if you were straightlaced.
@Ghost Hunters comment
Just for that, I'm going to send over some spookie ghostie hamsters to tickle you while you're sleeping.
;D

@naruto movie-
Oh no, it was yesterday in select theatres for one night only.(Hence the reason I went yesterday, even though I'm still in school, and why I snuck in when it was sold out) I only happened to see an ad for it when I went to Regal cinemas to watch Pirates.
Technically, you could just watch it online, but my friend convinced me to go...

Sleeping? I think I see a flaw in your plan, there...
@re: Cosplay
Not my thing. At all. I don't think it weird per se it's just that I am basically lazy and would hate to fiddle with a complicated costume.

@gathering
First one I went to was when I accidentally stumbled upon an Anime showing at the library. I stuck around, and many people dress up for that. It's like a mini-con. There's another one this Sunday. I'm wearing my kitty ears and "I <3 Anime" T-shirt. I'll fit in better that way. ^w^
@cosplay
I like cosplay. I dressed up as Fuu from Samurai Champloo at my first con. Wasn't entirely accurate, but people knew who I was. I got glomped and lots of people wanted to take my picture. It was great! And there was an ADORABLE little kid, like maybe 4 years old, dressed up as Inuyasha, and a little girl dressed as Honey-sempai from Ouran.

Awwww, that had to be adorable!
@cosplaying-
Unless you count the Pikachu costume I had for Halloween in 3rd grade(along with say 4 other people in my grade), or numbuh 3, I haven't really cosplayed much.
However, I'm probably just gonna dress up as a soul reaper from Bleach. It's pretty simple. All you need is a black robe, socks with sandals, and a bitchin' sword.

She was SO adorable. She was even sleepy and in need of a nap when I saw her, so she looked just like Honey-sempai when you first see him in the first ep. ^w^

I'm about to explode from the cuteness just by imagining that. I'm sure there were a bunch of people screaming "KAWAII !!!1" when they saw her.
Edit: I've been thinking about cosplaying as Haruhi Suzumiya (You know, from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya?
Hey! FF might like that show! It's got some sci-fi mumbo jumbo in it! Although he might be intimidated by the episodes airing out of order and whatnot... ;D
