Sorry, should have been specific! I meant canon (cannon? ...I *still* don't know if there's one n or two in that..) Two I think, and I was making a joke ^^; *sweatdrop*....I hate when I do that. Heh. Sorry! I get confused easily...especially when I'm up late. Excuses, excuses, I know. Oh yeah..Wink/Fibb! But are there any gay couplings allowed to actually show physical affection on a children's cartoon?

Like I said, I don't have a problem with it, if it made sense. Which, all things considered, it REALLY does not. If it can be explained (and I mean all things connected with it), then bully for her. I see your diamond ring and raise you a tiara. Problem is I don't see how it can be explained without leaving a gaping plot hole. Honestly.... does it have to be explained? Why does there exist a randomly posessed tricycle? How can Kuki turn into a thermostat demon queen on fire? KND is a primarily episodic show, and so for the most part, any twists are going to have to work within the confines of that episode only... so yes, while it might be a sudden, unconnected development, I'm going to be far less shocked over it than, - say - if halfway through Fullmetal Alchemist, Edward Elric suddenly reveiled that he was carrying Roy Mustang's lovechild. After five seasons of regular insanity, I don't think that Girl!Heinrich is the strangest thing that's ever happened. XPP ~Regan Those insanities stayed at least within the relative bounds of continuity. Realism is one thing (like you can actually build a treehouse underwater?), but continuity is necessary for the illusion. In this world, yeah, using the thermostat to turn a house into a raging hellhole is possible. Having a possessed tricycle is possible (more so, considering the prequel comic). But Heinrich being a girl, well, I'm sure you've read through the various examples of why it doesn't make sense, so I won't waste time repeating them. But are there any gay couplings allowed to actually show physical affection on a children's cartoon? Well, I don't watch Spongebob that often, but I'm thinking Patrick...

...When has ANYTHING in KND made sense? Srsly.
Suki, I think you are overreacting. It's one thing to be criticizing of the plot. It's another to flat-out insult the writers. Not cool. KND webscans see all, and I'm sure you've lost all respect from Mr. W, Ali and Sector CP. But considering you zomghate them anyway, I doubt that'll matter to you. Still kinda sad after all they've done for the fandom and you personally in answering random emails and putting your name prominently on that Christmas doodle. :/
Also, reeeeaally gotta debunk the Leopald argument. I think you're all forgetting that WHITEHOUSE was a dream, a figment of Nigel's imagination (or the shadowy kids' imagination). Leopald doesn't actually exist. At least with Sally Sanban she was actually born because time passed, and in the end they just time-traveled to fix things. Leopald, on the other hand, was a part of a dream and therefore not real. So I don't see how Leopald is one of your main arguments against girl!Heinrich.
*shrugs* I think it's sad that so much time and energy is being wasted on spazzing over a spoiler.

Yeeeeeeees. I see your point clearly. Insulting writers is always a great way to get conversations going. Totally forgot that.

I wasn't insulting 440 straight out. I'm insulting her if she uses that plot point without explaining it and so on and so on, because that's a pretty amateurish ploy.
And I was refering to the entire conversation stemming from the rumor.

Uh, why does she have to explain it? That's like asking them to explain why kids can pilot spacecrafts made of wood and scrap metal without worrying about oxygen, or asking them to explain why pools are the portals to another universe.
You keep saying it doesn't make sense. Maybe I missed your arguments? All I've seen you say was "Leopald!" to which I debunked, "Censors!" which also isn't a strong argument given the nature of cable cartoons today, and "The writers are on drugs/insane/etc!" which is not an argument and is just insulting.
You're getting so worked up about a spoiler you don't even know is going to happen for sure. Good job.

Good point... how can we say "something doesn't make sense" if we haven't, you know, seen the episode. I mean, granted, if it airs and all that happens is "Oh yah PS Heinrich is a GIRL LOL DRESSES!" then yes... that is out of the blue and makes no sense. But I ~highly~ doubt that the point will be made without a reasonable bit of plot and explination. IF that happens then okay, yes... that's somewhat ridiculous. But until then there's really no reason to get so personally angry over what might not even occur. >XP (...LOL DRESSES. And little braided pigtail buns for Heinrich, Y/Y?) ~Regan

For starters, I dont' think any of us thinks Leo is actually going to happen. The argument there is that they had someone in mind for his father when they designed him, and the closest character to that design is Heinrich. He's used as the offspring for fanfics to avoid the trouble of creating an OC.
Stemming back to why it doesn't make sense:
First off, Heinrich used to be Stickybeard's cabin boy, presumably before the Guatemala incident, perhaps even before he started candy hunting. Meaning he'd have been male before the Guatemala incident.
Next, we know that Abby knew Heinrich as Heinrich, and was not at all surprised that he was a he in JEWELS. This would require Heinrich to have been changed into a girl before Abby left him holding said caramels, and happened with enough time for her to develop a nickname for him, nevermind him chosing a new name for his new form. And why would they still WANT those caramels, anyway?
Also, the only thing that he seemed to complain about was the fact that she left him to take the heat. He ended up getting grounded for it. Who's really going to believe their son would leave the house as a boy, then show up again as a girl? And then ground them for it.
Either way, I stopped getting "worked up" about it about 32 hours ago. Now everyone's getting worked up about me getting worked up.
440, if you're reading this, I apologize for my rash statement earlier. I was either tired or in a bad mood or something, and it wasn't called for. From now on, I'll express my opinion through the filter of my sense of humor, which will probably result in a reaction far closer to what I will experience during the episode, whatever may happen in it.

Yeah, I could see them giving girl!Heinrich (Heinretta?) some horrenously steryotypical Heidi hairstyle. That would bizarrely work. You cannot deny the power of the braided pigtail buns. >XP

They worked for Princess Leia.
Looks a little... prissy, though. Now we have the dilemma of whether Abby would even be attracted to Hein...rette? Or vice-versa.

I disliked this idea at first but I seem to like it now. I don't know, it sounds like a funny idea! I think it'll be a hell of an episode. *is shot in the 5/heinrich thread*
Also, ummmm what are we saying that he was a girl turned into a boy OR a boy turned into a girl?
Reading through five pages this has been contradicted.
And in answer to someones question maybe he gave the name Heinrich himself, Yiou've seen it in a film/cartoon "I am not *insert original name* I am Heinrich!!!"
And in the KND world parents aren't observent. At all.

Actually, there IS a feminine version of the name "Heinrich" - "Heinrike". And that drawing is awesome XD And, hey, I'm not THAT upset about this plot point anymore. We're still not 100% sure what's gonna happen, right? I have faith that 440's gonna pull through.
