Hmm. I guess I could see it happening, but I tend to stay away from stereotypical-drill-sergeant characters (bad experience at being [forced] into the "Young Marines" years ago, I guess).

I'd just think it would be more believable if they had some kind of contact. I don't doubt that they've met, but except for a few brief seconds in CAKED FIVE we've never seen them really talk or anything.

Nigel and Rachel don't know each other well enough? I highly doubt. Because in op. IT, he often called her by name, which I believe he only did once to Abby (from the episodes I've seen, and they're quite a lot, though not all). Secondly, he constantly checks up on her (IT shows 'em all). He knows that this isn't what Rachel really wants so he kepts assuring her if that's what she truly wanted.

And yes, all those can be considered to be plainly platonic but same goes for Nigel and Abby. I didn't argue for 1/362 to be a more likely couple compare to 1/5 (heck, they're of the same level since 1/lizzie is most likely). The only thing I tried to argue here is that Nigel must have had a bond with Rachel ;D Hehe. (but am not saying it's a stronger bond compare to with Abby's at all)

i do believe this would be a really good coupling. my friend drew a picture of them together, and while i was looking at it i realised how good they looked together. And i believe 60 has actually popped up in other episodes (though im not sure which ones)
And he seems to spent more time at the moon base than the training base. well, from what ive seen anyway, correct me if im wrong.
sorry to all 1/362 for saying this, im not bashing or anything, but i just dont see that happening for some reason. sure, they got real emotional in I.T, but Nigel was making sure she had truly made the right decision. After all, he still considered her to be supreme leader. and the whole fact of Lizzie, and that i believe in 1/5 should happen, yeah.
but 1/362 is still an interesting couple. but i think 60/362 is a top fav. failing that, 362 will always have 86 for backup....

True. I guess I didn't mean that they don't know each other well enough. I meant that we as the viewers don't know her well enough. Aside from FUGITIVE and GRADUATES and maybe others where she's been mentioned, we barely find out who she is until this episode. I guess I would have suspected that the fans would have thought it was too soon for there to be any major interaction that is considered romantic. Well, that's for me, anyway. I considered that its too sudden for me.

But thats just moi. *wink wink nudge nudge* Of course its possible. I just don't think its got a big chance. *laughs* Then again, how many couples do? ;D

But anyways, back to 60/362. Just something about this shipping that makes me click. The fact that they are both such dedicated members of the KND is one thing, and to see them in Operation: ZERO; you know.. the fighting scene? I said to myself:

"This looks like the beginning of a bey-oo..tiful friendship!" ;D

Its not quite obvious yet, but I have high hopes for it. *wink wink nudge nudge* Its rather cute when considered deeply.

To answer your question numbuh 412, I started thinking about it when I read the fanfic ' In Your Dreams', chapter seven made me think about it. I started to think maybe he does like her, and the more I thought about it, the more cute it became to me.

It was probably just Winnie's intention, but i still think it could possibly occur in the future.

I literally sighed in affection at the end when they kissed each other, it was meant to be! even though it is in a fanfic, its still meant to be!
