My chapter is... DONE!
OK, I know, this is like -- the suckiest thing ever written, but I didn't know what else to correct. I am sorry for all of the scene switches at the beginning, and I KNOW that it is not good, but, well, here we go.

She was entranced.
Francine Fulbright was so deep in thought, that she didn’t notice that the SPLANKER that she was shining was already cleaner than when it was first made.
She had done it – and it had been so easy. She had asked out Albert Watson, and he had said yes. That meant that they were meant to be, right? And they had a date on Friday. Just two days away.
The notion of it held her so tightly, that when the TND decommissioning chamber began to smoke, she barely blinked.
Numbuh 362’s eyes flashed in anger, as she paced back and forth in front of Fanny.
“You let the decommissioning chamber BURN!” Rachel snapped, throwing her slim pale hands up into the air.
Fanny cringed, blinking apologetically. “I-I’m sorry Numbuh 362, sir. I wasn’t looking… I… I…”
“Now, we are going to have tens of eighteen year old adults walking around here! This thing will take weeks to fix!” Numbuh 362 interrupted. Her tone was the color red, and it spared no feelings. “What were you thinking?!”
Numbuh 86 blushed for all of the obvious reasons. “I-I-I don’t know sir… I… I mean…”
“Luckily, I was able to get one of the 2x4 technologists to come up. He’s going to help you fix the chamber. You better thank your lucky stars that we have an operative like him with no life.”
Fanny blinked. “Who?”
“Hoagie P. Gilligan… Numbuh 2 of Sector V.”
“WHAT?”
Rachel’s thin figure tightened. “I do not think that you are in any position to complain about circumstances!” she snapped again. “He’ll be over at two.”

Fanny sat angrily in the broken TND decommissioning chamber, checking to see if she could find a way to magically fix it right then, to avoid any contact with that stupid Gilligan boy.
The machinery was highly complex, and it looked as if there was no trick to its fixture, only knowing all of the right bolts to turn, and all of the right wires to re-connect.
Sighing in defeat, the girl leaned back in her chair. Maybe it wouldn’t be that bad.
“Numbuh 86?”
The voice made her jump, and the hatred for the boy at the door began to bubble within her again. His stupid developing voice. His dumb messy hair. His idiotic thoughts. There was nothing to like about him.
“Numbuh 2.” She greeted coolly, standing up and turning towards the broken machine, not giving him the satisfaction of eye-contact.
Hoagie took a breath, smiled optimistically, and followed her to the chamber’s power source. “So what happened?” He asked as sweetly as he could.
“Duh! It broke! An idiot would know that!”
Hoagie filtered all of the bad energy out of her voice, and took it in a positive way. “OK. I think that we should start with the left side of the chamber. Usually the power comes from that side.”
“I know that! Come on, I have to leave in an hour!”
Hoagie smirked lightly, but not loud enough for her to hear. “And hour, huh?”
“YES! And what I have to go and do is NONE of your business!!!” She shouted as loudly as she could.
Numbuh 2 sighed and nodded acceptingly. “Alright then, lets get to work.”
For the next forty-five minutes, they moved slowly across the control panel, Hoagie telling Fanny exactly where to drill. She insisted that he wasn’t good enough to use her tools, and his tools weren’t good enough for her decommissioning chamber.
“Numbuh 86, you don’t put that there…” Hoagie mumbled, still being as cheerful as he could.
She scowled. “I know! It was you who bumped me into moving my hand there!”
“Geesh, you need to calm down. For real.” He said, his voice musical. Hoagie sighed as he turned back to the machine. Angrily, he thought of Fanny. Why did she always have to pick on him? He liked it. Numbuh 2 knew, that deep down inside, he adored her constant bickering.
“I have to go, Gilligan,” she snapped finally, wrenching her hand back from the control-panel. “Hopefully, if we keep working, we can finish sooner, and I can get away from you!”
He blinked. “You did a nice job today, Fa – Numbuh 86. You’re a great technologist.”
Fanny opened her mouth to respond, but didn’t.
And Hoagie couldn’t help but to notice, that the look of hatred that she shot him whenever she left his presence, was a bit softer today.

Not ruddy likely.
He's got a legacy to keep going. The Gilligans! His first son will be Hoagie P. Gilligan III.
However, I could see Fanny keeping her maiden name. Or taking her Father's maiden name.
Boss.
Oh, maybe Fanny's mom kept her maiden name, and Fanny used that instead of her dad's.

oooh, i like that chapter a lot...better than what i can do
baby talk, i love itXD actually, i could see Fanny using Gilligan....bt when it comes to putting things in her name...she'll use Fullbright.
as for babies....i think her first born would be called Hank....come on, Hoagie would have some attachment to that name^^ but of course a Hoagie P. Gilligan III would have to be in the family somewhere

Maybe Hoagie will insist on being called "Hank" when he gets older, and that'll be the new family nickname for all the Hoagie's.

That could work! Still, I really don't see Fanny changing her name. I wouldn't be surprised if it was tradition in her family for girls to keep their maiden name in order to keep the family line going. Sure, she's got her brothers, but did they ever say for sure if their last name is Fullbright or Boss?
