...For some reason I want to see him slap somebody with his glove and say "I challenge you to a duel!"...I've no idea why, but I really want to see that.

I don't think he'd challenge someone to a duel. That's too close to playing fair.
Accepting a duel... that I can see. *le slap*

I can't really see it happening, I just think it would be cool.
I dunno about him accepting a duel...he seems kinda wimpy at times. Then again, he didn't hesitate to take that gun and start shooting at Abby...I guess there are a bunch of dependent variables there.

Wimpy? Not hardly, man. He seems to enjoy ordering people around, but doesn't have a problem getting in there.
Though his lifestyle may not lend itself to athletics.

True....*pictures him attempting to run up and down the stairs*
Wimpy mainly comes from LICORICE...he was pretty much crying like a baby. But then again, who wouldn't if they thought they were going to be destroyed by a licorice plant.

Well, he was tied up and surrounded by licorice skeletons. His power trip comes because he's usually on the offense. Apparently, he doesn't do defense well. And he tends to have some real power. Henchmen to order around, a really huge advantage, or monsterous abilities.
*really long analysis of LICORICE ahead*
If you're comparing Heinrich to Abby in this ep, he does look like a wimp until you look at the cisrumstances.
Heinrich is all alone, no weapons, no means of escape, surrounded by dozens of undead pirates who are REALLY pissed at him.
Enter Abby. She knows the playing field. She has some backup in Stickybeard's crew, and the ship to leave on. She also knows John's weak points. First, the sun. Stall him long enough, and John and his crew will be helpless, and they can leave with Heinrich. Second, his pride. Challenge him, and he'll accept. All Abby had to do was keep the game going long enough for the sun to rise. The French guys were probably a plan B in case the seed started growing before the sun could rise. Sticky and his crew probably would have fought if they stall didn't last long enough. All they'd have to do is hold the licorice crew back long enough, once again, for the sun. The one advantage John had is Heinrich, already planted and fed, only needing moonlight to finish the job. Nature took Abby's side and kept the moon covered until close to dawn.
So really, her rescue was more a mixture of knowing her enemy, planning ahead, and luck.

And probably sacrificing several nights of sleep, as she probably was on a sugar-high for a week after that. She seemed calm enough when Heiny was talking to her, though, so then again..maybe not.

She can hold her sugar. Just not THAT much. I imagine she was unconscious for several hours and slept it off.

Yeah, I doubt she was fine immediately afterwards. ...Now why the heck did Stickybeard give her yet another glass of sugar?

Probably to annoy John. Or because he didn't think she'd pass out. Stickybeard's hardly the most responsible of adults.
I'm surprised she didn't have a hangover. Maybe she did after she woke up, but Sticky gave her something for it. Guy eats that much sugar, he must have a hangover remedy or two. Pure peppermint leaf, perhaps?

Yeah, Stickybeard probably just wasn't thinking. I'm still trying to figure out that guy...he's at the villain's award show, but I don't really count him as a villain. He's saved the KND before, and he helped Abby, after she won the whole sugar-drinking thing.
Or maybe she has a pretty strong immunity to it? I'm sure she was probably out of it for a while, but the closest thing to not being a sweet that I see Stickybeard having is peppermint, and that still has sugar in it.

Pure peppermint leaves could work (as Suki suggested)...I mean, it IS something of a stimulant, and the sugar in peppermint candy is just added, right?

Yeah, I believe so...(they also add beets to make the red color more well...red)
Anyways, Heinrich. We love him, and we don't get enough of him.

Well...maybe it's a good thing? Otherwise he'd be overexposed...
There IS such a thing as "too much of a good thing".
