About the story - I know, I know, I made Nigel a bad boy. But I honestly don't think it would play out as easily as "Sorry, Lizzie, I'm leaving you for Rachel," then going to Rachel. I believe, based upon my (sorta limited) knowledge of the characters, that Nigel would be terrified of hurting Lizzie. Part of him would nag at him that he should, but he'd be scared to break up with her, and therefore, in a moment where he wasn't thinking, cheat on her with the girl he really loved.
