Are we the only three guild members up? (of course it is past midnight where most of the members live.)

@ Numbuh 0xFF: My pleasure. And no, I'm way too far from being a god. Seriously. ;D Thanks for the compliment on the fanart gift! @re: Grades Please don't get me wrong here, but my parents (and very much unavoidably-->) I get disappointed whenever I have a B+. Actually, getting A- is quite a bum on my part already... *sigh* No one read this, okay? I'm off to go study. Bye. HAPPY 2/5 THREAD ANNIVERSARY!!

@kcg
Most Uncool.
@cap'n Veg
You are utterly nuts. In the best possible way, of course.
@re: grades
My parents never got on my case about my grades -- the idea was that it was my life and my decision if I want to study or not. It was actually a fairly nasty thing to do to me 'cause I'm a perfectionist about certain things -- so I study like a maniac.
Speaking of which, there's a pile of "applications of Cauchy and D'Alambert criteria" problems with my name on 'em. Bye!

@getting grounded for a B+ What planet do your parents come from? I got pretty much straight Bs in junior high and HS. My parents were happy with that...though I was a bit lazy and could have got As if I worked at it. (I got Bs effortlessly.) Dang. My jaw's still hanging open. EDIT: And in college...I picked hard courses and got Bs and Cs. I wasn't like the people who took easy courses and got easy As. Urrrrrrrrrgh.

I'm going away for the next 4 days to an animation festival, so I'm not gonna be around until Saturday evening. I'm literally packing as I post... Re: Grades Ugh, my dad got angry with the school whenever I didn't get nominated for an award or something - it was really embarrassing. I just feel sorry for my brother, he's still got 2 years of school left! Fortunately, my dad doesn't understand the grading scheme at college or uni and we don't have award evenings so he doesn't complain about me any more. Most of my GCSEs were Bs, and he seemed happy about that. The thing is, I was happy with my grades and so were everyone else. It was just him! Okay, that's enough complaining from me. ;D Re: Random Sweet! I just finished downloading DIAPER and saw the end credits for the first time! Dude, that's funny stuff.

I feel so bad right now, guys...
While I was turning out of the neighborhood, I spotted a cat in my yard.
I got out of the car and followed the cat. She (yes, I checked to see if the cat was a he or a she--I'm insane ;D) let me pick her up and was actually pretty snuggly. I noticed that she had a flea collar on, but no ID collar. So I knew she was someone's pet.
What to do? Da Hubs would be upset if I kept another cat in the house, and Phantom is jealous, so...I put the cat on my deck and left to drop my daughter off.
The cat was gone when I got back.
Man, I hope the cat got back home...I would feel bad if someone was looking for the cat and all upset. Worse, what if the cat got hit on the road by some moron (a fate that befell my first cat? That was one of the most horrible things I ever experienced...)?
I feel like sh@t. Plus, the weather here is awful, I feel sleepy, and I didn't get to making a Guild anniversary gift...today ain't my day.

@everyone- I'm really glad y'all like the song! @school- I, like Hoagies Gal, can also do little and get B's. And my parents are down with that. Basically, as long as I have no 0's for homework assignments, they're happy. But man, a lot of your parents are crazy! Being unhappy with a B+? Geez.... @hoagies Gal- You did all you could. I'm sure the cat found it's way home, or at least it will. As long as she's not declawed, she'd be able to survive very long. I remember this one time, we saw a dog wandering in our driveway. He was a cute little thing. We checked his collar, and it said he was from NYC. So we were like "This dog came all the way from NYC?!?!" We had called the SPCA and said that we located a missing dog, and for the time being we would keep it. Turns out that these people had just moved here from NYC, and hadn't changed their dogs collar yet. These people actually wound up being our next door neighbors. What an incredible journey that dog had @bad weather- It's pouring here. I got drenced just walking from my driveway to the back porch...
