Hmph. Never read that. I guess it's too late at this point. Pity. Still writing about books is at least in the vicinity of fun.
Oh and they named Xena (you know, one of the newly-discovered dwarf planets) Eris. Which is a very cool name indeed. Eris. Also known as Discordia. Greek godess of discord and chaos. Awesome.

Mhm-hm. Lots of the TNOs have really cool names. Like Orcus. How can you not like something named Orcus.
Speaking of which, anyone here know that there was a short-lived political motion to rename the Moon (as in the Earth's natural satelite) "The Ronald Regan Memorial Moon"? I swear I am NOT making this up. Luckily, sanity prevailed.
Anyway, I'd stay and chat but I have to go and work on a certain fanfic I promised. I'm having the worst case of writer's block in the history of the human species. I am incapable of putting together a single cogent sentence of KND-iffic ficcitude. Which is a major bummer, as you may well imagine.

@dearest Sweetheart
Writer's block is one of my best friends...heck, that's why I have so many unfinished fics.
Maybe a dose of Firefly will help?

Speaking of Firefly, you get any chance to catch a glimpse? And, yes, I am considering dosing myself with some Firefly. Also, liberal application of Bayblon 5, Watchmen, Sandman, Terry Pratchett and (as a night-cap) some Jacques Prévert. I like mixing things up. Especially things that God, if there is one, clearly did not intend to be mixed.

Writers block, ugg, I hate it, especially when I am in the middle of a fic.

@firefly
Not yet. I just got back from dinner at my mom's, and I'm beat. Maybe tomorrow, if I find the time.
I read some stuff on browncoats.com to get myself a bit up to speed.

I DESPISE writer's block. I've aquired it half (or is three quarters?) of the way through Chapter 1 of my fic...ugh >< It's so awkward just having the prolouge and nothing else up! Of course, school is also to blame. And distraction. But it WILL get done...seriously ;D Especially since I have a huge list of fic-ideas piling up behind it.

My problem is that I run on pretty much the following algorithm:
10 WRITE ONE PAGE 20 READ PAGE 30 SAY 'DEAR ST. DAWKINS WHAT CRUD HAVE I WRITTEN! I DESERVE TO BE KEELHAULED!' 40 SAY 'I SHOULD JUST SHOOT MYSELF. WHAT POSESSED ME TO WRITE ANYTHING ANYWAY?' 50 GET DEPRESSED 60 GOTO 10
As you may notice, quite a predicament.
