Yanno, I seriously expected him to be killed by a croc, I was shocked that it was a stingray(ironically, he was shooting a documentary at the time trying to demystify the stingray.

The thing is, if he had be stung anywhere else, he would have lived, but since he was stung right through the heart, there was pretty much no hope.
It's so sad, he was practically my childhood idol. He was reason I started wanting so many pets. It's so hard for me to let it sink in.

Some questions I pulled from the first thread.
How long ago did Numbuh 2 begin to start liking Numbuh 5?
Did Numbuh 2 have a crush on Cree before he had one on Numbuh 5, or after?

A stingray has a poisonous barb on his tail, that's what it uses to sting people. Generally though, a person'll accidentally step on a stingray, and it'll sting their leg. But if you can get medical treatment on time, you're pretty likely to survive.

As for Steve, well from what I heard, his cameraman was right in front of the stingray, and Steve was swimming toward the cameraman. The stingray felt threatened. And when the happens, the stingray will lift it's poisonous tail straight up in the water to serve as a warning. But Steve was right over the stingray when it lifted up it's tail, that's how it got into his chest.

But that may not be exactley what happened, I summarized from memory what I heard on a newsite, so I could be wrong.

(And in case you were wondering, yes, they do have the stingray attack on tape, but it's currently in the possesion of an Australian police station, and I don't think they intend on releasing it.)

Steve Irwin was my hero. I knew something would happen to him sooner or later, but he just seemed.... invincible.

Probably a while after his crush on Cree started. And he probably has a crush on both girls.

A crush on Cree first, then a bit of a crush on Numbuh 5.

Wouldn't doubt it. I'm sure I'll find it on youtube. Then I'll look it up on snopes to see whether or not it's the actual tape. It may or may not be.

If Steve Irwin had been stung anywhere else, like his leg or arm, he would of had a high fever which could have been taken care of. But he was stung in his heart, which probably killed him instantly. Or at least I hope it did, I pray he didn't suffer before he died.

There have only been 17 worldwide fatalities involving stingrays. Steve Irwin is now one of those people. May he rest in peace.
